We had the most UNFORTUNATE experience from this location yesterday. Had a delivery of the 6 pack sandwiches, brisket. THE MEAT WAS SWIMMING IN GREASE I attempted to use several Bounty paper towels to absorb, uselessly. Called & the young lady manager did NOT apologize, offer a credit ( spent $106), absolutely the worst service & meat. Great potato salad.

Stop by to order a couple plates of BBQ after the Independence Bowl Game. Staff was great, clean restaurant, for the price your getting a very good deal for some bbq meat, potato salad, and bbq beans with really great flavor. I will be a returning customer look forward to it! – Iraq Vet. One point I’d like to make Podnuh’s Bar-B-Q been around for decades so I pretty much trust they know what their doing. That says a lot from the longevity of the business.

The potato salad was very close to the original recipe at this location and I miss that at the Baton Rouge location. Look how nice and tight the potato salad is. No heavy egg or mayo flavor.

Soon as you walk in your serviced with a warm welcoming. The food is fresh . Brisket doesn’t have all that fatty, Mac is delicious as well as the turnips has seasoning that u cam actually taste. Ms. Natasha went above and beyond to make our experience special and we will be back to this location. I’m from Southern Louisiana and love the hospitality showed and I can’t forget about the sweet tea it almost tops Raising Canes tea

Visited this place a second time as out-of-town guest. To summarize my experience….horrible. I entered the restaurant at 7:15pm (they at 8:00pm) and the server was dumping the mac-n-cheese in the trash. Once he saw me he placed the mac-n-chees back on serving line…needless to say it was old and tasted horrible. The meats (I had the sausage, brisket and chicken) were cold and the chicken was undercooked. I also had the green beans and they were cold…became obvious the green beans were setting on the serving line a long time. I am hoping I don’t get food poisoning from this experience as I am travelling. This visit was such a let down compared to the first time I visited two weeks earlier. The manager was on duty this visit and the food was awesome. Only kids and young adults were on duty tonight when I visited and their only motivation was to close exactly at 8:00pm so they could leave. Needless to say, I won’t be going back. Highly recommend NOT di ing at this place. Much better food available in Bossier City cooked and served by people who care.

Brisket and ham were really good !!! Mac n cheese also good. Best thing though was the friendly staff. Also a clean restaurant. I spoke with 3 employees. All 3 were very kind. Definitely recommend. I visited at 1pm on a Tuesday. Great visit will be back when I’m in the area

The lady at the drive thru was so considerate and kind and so was the lady who prepared and bagged the food.its rare to find people who treat you so kind. They were both wonderful.
