We were a little nervous to stop in based on the reviews relating to the customer service, but were pleasantly surprised with how kind everyone was who we interacted with. The food was great and the self serve sides were generously portioned. Would definitely eat here again!

Terrible experience , the food was awful. I ordered brisket and chicken only to drive home to find some old very dried out pork ribs. If you don’t have brisket I would have rather just seasoned another piece of chicken instead of having my entire meal ruined. Had to throw it away the chicken is flavorless the potato salad was soupy. I was the only person in the drive through so it was impossible to confuse my order. No I do not care for pork but aside from that the food was handled carelessly. The guy who took my order was a nice guy the guy who prepared my food was careless. Ill be avoiding them in the future.

Second time in a row this place was a letdown. The best part of my meal was the Texas toast. Has anyone ever shown these people how to slice a brisket? They gave me chunks of something that looked like pot roast. The mac and cheese was hard, and the tea was too strong to drink. The workers were nice, though. But if your food ain’t on par, it doesn’t matter hiw nice you are. This place used to have good bbq. I won’t be back… sorry.

I understand that trying economic times and the reluctance to increase prices can lead to some tough choices on the supply side for restaurants…HOWEVER, this experience was straight garbage. You never go to Podnuh’s and expect much except great beans. We were robbed of even that small solace as the beans were less than store brand pork and beans with additional sauce. “Blegh” comes to mind as an accurate description of our final meal at any/every Podnuhs. If the food on the one at North Market is indicative of the cost saving measures and the finished product for all locations, then congratulations! You will save 100% of your operating cost in short order without some immediate intervention.

Went 90 minutes before closing, lobby was closed, employee was sitting outside on sidewalk smoking and NEVER mentioned it. When door was locked we asked if they were already closed, he says door is locked guess so. We got back in vehicle which is tough due to me being disabled. Went to drive thru since all the signs said OPEN. Pulled up you couldn’t understand person on speaker so we said we will pull up. It pissed her off when we said we couldn’t understand her through the speaker. We SHOULD of just left. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a regular potato salad and a sweet tea, the price was higher than expected, we paid, waited on food and they handed it to us. She goes we are out of pulled pork so I did a chopped brisket. I didn’t WANT brisket but just went along with it. Then my husband all the while NEVER saying a word other than thanks, reaches for the tea, she kinda of just tossed it to him and the lid was not attached as he put his hand out to put it under the cup, it poured out onto him and down the inside of the car. The ENTIRE large drink was emptied, 1st off he asked for some napkins and she threw 2 at him and when he asked for a refill she obliged but was huffy about it. We asked for a manager and she said no one was there we would have to come back another day. We drove off into parking lot and husband had to pull his shirt off it was so drenched in tea. We had to go back home instead of going to our appointment. We cleaned the car and husband got his shower. When we opened the bag of food there was a TINY sauce cup of potato salad and mot even a tablespoon of meat on the sandwich, NO sauce and the meat was just end pieces that were so hard it couldn’t be ate. We ended up having to spend $85 to have the car cleaned, tea was on seat, carpet, inside and outside of door. The so called CUSTOMER SERVICE sucked and we have NEVER had the horrible food from any Podnuhs EVER before. We will NEVER go back not will we recommend this location!!! HORRIBLE FOOD and SERVICE…
