Had a nice time here with my husband. There was plenty of parking available when we arrived but I could see it getting crowded. There is nearby street parking as well. The service was really great. The booths were pretty uncomfortable and uneven but not a deal breaker. They have a jukebox that gets pretty loud but there are two rooms if you feel like sitting on the other side to avoid the noise. They didn’t hand out a drink menu but I noticed people getting beers and margaritas.

For food: My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp, which he said was really good. The abalone was a little overcooked but the flavor was good. I ordered the whole fried fish, also a little overcooked but it was a good size. I wish it had better seasoning but there was salt on the table. Both dishes were served with rice and sauteed veggies that tasted sooo good. I could fill up on those alone. The table chips and salsa were okay. The chips were a little thick for my liking and the salsa didn’t have any spice but it tasted homemade.

They have a pretty large menu and we honestly had a hard time choosing, so we are excited to try more things. Prices were a little high but portions and service made it worth it.

This place is the textbook definition of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” The location, its limited parking, and aging interior decor may throw you off. But the food here isn’t bad. This time I tried the pozoles. While I had my doubts, I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful and filling it was. One order is enough for two bellies or one really hungry one. I am humbled and excited to have found my pozole location. Can’t wait to continue to dive into their menu.

Slightly slow service, but otherwise very good. The food was excellent. Had the pollo ranchero. Tasted fresh and came with delicious tortillas.

I spent over $100 on a rider to just get one bag of chips for 3 large campechanas and I called to speak to them and they were very rude about it. Never again!!!!!!!!!
