THANK YOU ALLEN! I ordered Pocket Deli for my mom’s retirement party. I put the order in online and Allen (The Owner) Called me to tell me that getting the food delivered the day before might leave guests with a less than stellar view of his business. He made me PROMISE to do certain things with the sandwiches to ensure everyone had a delicious meal. We ordered over 30 sandwiches which were GONE within the first hour of the event. I was so thrilled with the service, care for his business, and the delivery right on time. Thank you Pocket Deli!

Ate here for the first time today despite working across the street (I don’t often buy sandwhiches) and it was really good. Had the Pastrami pocket, and meat was good, bread was good, right amount of mustard for my taste and I liked the inclusion of the tomatoes & onions. The pocket bread makes it much less messy to eat than a regular sando. It was also pretty large and filling. Only complaint would be its a bit pricey, but what restaurant isn’t these days.

I absolutely love Pocket Deli! This place has some of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. So The Pocket Deli, originally known as Ike’s Deli in 1990’s through the late 2000’s, still has the great Pita Bread Sandwiches that it had back then. I revisited back in 2014 with rare opportunity because of commute and work location outside of an hour drive. I had the opportunity in my career to travel everywhere in California being based in the Sacramento area. Believe me when I say, The Pocket Deli sandwiches are a treat to beat. Having a great number hot and cold sandwhich that can be in a 6-8″ length 6″ high Pita Bread stuffed to perfection to fil up and satisfy any hunger level. The ingredients are always fresh and they even top with oregano seasoning to give that Greek kick. Gotta try it guys!!!!

I had a grilled veggie pocket with all possible veggies in it. It tasted really good.
Downside- It is costly as compared other places giving a similar item. Not much of variety in their menu except for their Pockets.

Pockets seem to have very little meat and mostly veggies not worth the price for that!! It seems the owner has an excuse for every bad review instead of fixing the problems that the reviewers addressed. Ok best rated sandwich. Oh my crew was never rude maybe have a team meeting and fix the issues and stop blaming the patrons who pay you money. Maybe your French dip is your highest seller. I ordered once before because it’s the only one that has meat as the main ingredient. Meat and cheese. The rest are so packed with everything but meat: I have been there three or four times and only the French dip did have meat. The Rueben sub par and others all lettuce. Even looking at the pics of people who posted 5 stars the sandwiches are all lettuce. Must be the owner or his friends posting to raise star level. A trick my wife does to working fast food to have friend and family post high in rank to raise the star level. What a spiteful and hateful

Great food and came out fresh and quick! Horrible service from the older bald gentleman behind the counter! Nothing like being laughed at twice and told that’s not how you pronounce that word. While being laughed at. If it wasn’t for my mother being with me I would have walked right out! Might order pick up but never ordering if that dudes behind the counter.
