I was greeted by a very grumpy and unwelcoming host but Anya at the bar more than made up for it in warmth, hospitality and service.
The skinny margarita was excellent and the tacos were very good. I had the Al Pastor with corn as my side.
I really liked the ability to choose my side rather than being presented with a plate of mediocre rice and beans that I don’t want to eat.
The restaurant was busy but sitting at the bar meant I had great service.
The bar had an extensive margarita and tequila menu as well as regular cocktails.

I found this place driving through and let me tell you, this place is AMAZING! Some of the best Tacos I’ve ever had, great customer service! Even the food came out fast which I rarely get, I will be back again because I highly recommend

Was so good. I had the rice bowl with steak. I will for sure get that again if we visit there again. Delicious. Hubby had enchiladas. Said they were really good. Margaritas were also really good. Our waiter was on point, and took really good care of us.

This restaurant is in a nice spot downtown with street parking available. It can get busy, so you might have to park further away and walk.

The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We didn’t have to wait to be seated, which was nice. The setup is very basic with booth seating, some tables, and a long counter in the middle of the restaurant.

The food was not bad, but you have to pay for items that other Mexican restaurants usually provide for free, like chips and dip. I ordered the Carne Asada. The steak had a good thickness to it but unfortunately, it wasn’t very fresh. The kids’ meal for my children was okay. My son mentioned that his fries and cheeseburger were bland. I tried it, and I agree. Prices are a bit higher compared to other places by a few dollars.

Honestly a great experience. The food was amazing. The Blazing Burrito stole the show. A perfect balance of heat and flavor. The tacos were great as well! All of the flavors of margaritas are top notch. You can’t go wrong with any choice you go with. Will definitely be coming back!!

We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant is adorable and I love the small details of their aesthetics. Their bathroom was clean too which is a big deal for me. Our food came out quickly and the portions good and tastes good too. Will def. go back.

OH MY, this has to have been the most flavorful Mexican food I have had since living in Houston. I HIGHLY recommend the Nachos, and the Steak Fajitas. ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: there is another Mexican restaurant three doors down (to the right of Pochos) I ate there last week and was not impressed. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE CORRECT PLACE. It is worth the drive and I will be visiting again. In the mean time, I’m taking a piece of Tres Leaches (spelling?) home with me. Enjoy

I didn’t know someone could mess up refried beans I could not even describe it but I had 2 others try it and they said it tastes like cat food. The tortillas were disgusting the only thing edible was the chicken fajita meat. Well and the diet Pepsi was good. I had to hold up my cup to get refills though. I won’t be back. The people I went with did have good margaritas though but I am not much of a drinker so no reason for me to go back.

I was really happy with our dinner. Prices were reasonable – especially if you aren’t drinking alcohol. I don’t drink but my husband got a jalapeño margarita. I tried it, very good and nicely presented. I had a bowl with al pastor, which was delicious. There’s a lot of menu items I want to try. Desserts were also very good. It’s familiar Mexican food but unique too. I really need to try those sweet tamales.

Most of the food was ok other than the spoiled cheese. The queso had no flavor. No chips and salsa provided for free like most mexican restaurants. Service was horrible. Joined friends there, we waited over 10 mins once we joined our friends for the server to come over who asked for our food order. Umm we hadn’t even ordered drinks yet. Starters came out shortly after our orders were placed then not even 5 minutes later our main course came out. Our drinks were empty multiple times , our server didn’t come to check on us other than to give us the bill. Very disappointing, will not be returning
