The food was delicious and the service was great!! Our waitress was Mel. She was excellent. She was super friendly and made sure our glasses were always filled. She explained the menu because it was our first time here. I liked that they offered butter and real maple syrup (for a small additional charge.)We came here in March. I’m sure in the summer it gets packed. The dining area is large. There is plenty of space. We will definitely be back. SN: It’s a little cheaper if you pay with cash.

Stopped here on New Year’s Day for breakfast, in the middle of our 5-day road trip to Savannah. We ordered a Pocahontas omelette combo (omelette, potato hashbrowns, 3 pancakes) and a chocolate chip waffle. Both of them were really good! A huge difference between this place and other breakfast chain restaurants like ihop, dennys is that it doesn’t taste like frozen food and is freshly made. The waffles were very crispy and very easy on the tummy as well. The omelette had veggies in it and tasted really good! The Pocahontas sauce though is just marinara sauce. The place looks great with all the Native American related decor and artwork placed all over the place. Definitely a must recommend if you wanna have a good hearty breakfast! The only issue is that we had to wait for about 10 mins becoz the place was full of ppl already.

Pocahontas Pancake House is busy for a reason. We had the biscuits and gravy, eggs, roasted potatoes, and a Belgian waffle and everything was really good. It was packed with about a 25-minute wait, but the service and food came out super fast. The space is a little tight but cozy and lively. Great quality food at a good price would definitely come back.

Loved the whole vibe. Very cool atmosphere and the service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. The food was SOLID – very tasty. Would highly recommend. Great prices with large portions. The taste of the food was really traditional – which is comfort at its finest.

What a great breakfast place. I had country ham, eggs, & pancakes and my husband had the biscuit platter. Both were very good. Not a fan of the potatoes, but everything else was great. The country ham was delicious. Good coffee. The only bad thing was the menu prices were not updated so the actual prices were about $3 higher than listed in the menu and there was an “operational fee” added to the bill, which should be reflected on the menu. Still giving it a 5 star rating as the food is good & it’s a cute place to eat.

Pocahontas Pancake House has a fantastic location—right in front of our hotel and just a street away from the beach. There’s almost always a line out the door and down the street, but we happened to arrive at the perfect time and were seated right away. Even so, it was insanely crowded inside. If you get up to use the bathroom, you feel like you’re going to bump into several people or tables on the way.

The food was just okay. The pancakes were not very fluffy and tasted like they might not have been super fresh. My bacon and sausage were definitely not fresh, and the sausage was cold. On the bright side, my husband’s omelette was actually very good—so I’d recommend the omelettes over the pancakes here.

Our waitress was very nice, and the Native American–themed decor felt fitting, considering Pocahontas would have lived in this area. Overall, a decent spot for the location, but the food didn’t live up to the hype.

I’ve always heard great things about Pocahontas Pancake House and finally stopped by after seeing all the high ratings. The food really is excellent — fresh, flavorful, and classic diner-style breakfast done right. Service was friendly and fast, too.

That said, the interior is definitely a product of another time. The restaurant’s decor hasn’t changed much in over 40 years, and some of the murals and artwork reflect outdated and romanticized depictions of Native American history that many people today may find insensitive or offensive.

While I understand it’s part of the restaurant’s long history, I think it’s important to mention for guests who might not be comfortable with that type of imagery. I’d still recommend it for the food and service, but with that cultural context in mind.
