Unique menu featuring (spoiler alert) Poached Eggs!
This is my second time dining here since Poached open (yes, repeat customer – will go back again) and both times the service was great; timely & friendly, and the food was tasty!
If you don’t care for poached eggs, don’t let that deter you—they gladly adjust the dish to suit your taste. For example, I did not want my poached egg on top of my French toast, so I had it on the side (or I could’ve had it fried … )
Lastly, I enjoyed the bright and cheery aesthetic of the newly updated dining room. It has a coastal/beach vibe. The Christmas decorations were amazing too! It is my understanding that the poached egg, bacon and coffee mug ornaments were hand-crafted by a local artisan. Poached is the heart of small town living! ☕️

Alright folks, I know you have been to Deiner’s when it was here and Deiner ‘s was a fine establishment for many years. Aside from that “Poached” has now opened and we went today. The building has received a great upgrade and remodel. The interior has a brighter white blue black color scheme, nicely decorated with a new floor and ceiling. The inside has plenty of seating available with small cozy tables and friendly wait staff. You don’t have to worry about getting lost in a huge menu , as the menu is sure to please with the many favorites that they offer. Our meals will be featured here as photos. The coffee bar seemingly is well stocked with several knowledgeable staff to make your favorite beverage. Our waitress was awesome, checking back often to make sure our visit was satisfactory. My breakfast consisted of a ham and cheese sandwich that has a creamy mustard sauce on it and an order of fried hash brown potatoes with butter and chives . It was amazing. Looking forward to my next visit. The prices are a bit high but if you can treat yourself, come here. Thanks people.

Went here for the first time today. Our server told me they were short staffed which of course I don’t blame them as they have no control over who calls off, but we waited a while to be seated (even though there were open tables), waited quite a while to get our food, and waited an unnecessarily long time to get our check. Our server was friendly and as attentive as she could be. Food was…just okay. I got the filet Benedict and it tasted like it was missing something. It was decent when I added hot sauce to it. Home fries barely had any color to them. I wish they were crispier and had onions. I’d come back in a pinch or if I had friends who wanted to come but I’m not sure I’d pick it out again.

Food was decent. I tried the salmon Benedict. The menu states it has sriracha hollandaise, so I was excited. It’s actually just sriracha drizzle on top. The toast with the traditional breakfast was partially burnt.
Services was acceptable, but other employees who I assume were off shift were splaying out on the bar counter which isn’t a great look when there are still customers inside.

Cute little place! Food was delicious and we will definitely be back to try other menu items. We went late morning and the service was a little slow, but the staff was very friendly.

This was our first time here under the new name and owner (Im guessing). We came here many times when it was Diener’s.
The food is much better now than it was in the past. We really enjoyed the coffee and breakfast meals. Our server was pleasant and apologetic for the long wait times. It was a Saturday morning and they were quite busy.
The space is so much brighter than before and looks awesome!

I had the filet mignon with Béarnaise sauce with hash browns. Both were devine. Although not on the menu, shrimp or lobster Benedicts with imperial sauce are incredible.

I got the crab cake Benny. It was delicious! The Hollandaise was nicely seasoned. The crab cakes were made with real lump crab. The waitress stopped by multiple times to check on us. I wish they sold their shirts! Such a great pun!

This was our first visit to Poached. It was a bit surprising to see the space without the booths that had been there for many years. While the new, open look is nice, the booths did help with sound absorption, without them, it’s easy to hear conversations from across the restaurant. The restaurant wasn’t very busy for a Saturday morning, but the noise level still carried quite a bit.
There was also some noise coming from behind the screens in what appeared to be a prep area, someone was setting up utensils for quite a while and slamming them together which impacted our experience. I completely understand the need for prep work, though it might be better timed outside of dining hours since it was a bit distracting.
On the positive side, the food was excellent. It was easily the best food that has come out of the kitchen since Linda owned the place, possibly even better. Everything our family ordered was delicious and fresh, which definitely made up for the atmosphere concerns. I was a little surprised there wasn’t a dedicated children’s menu, and the pricing between a traditional breakfast and a breakfast sandwich seemed inconsistent given the similar ingredients.
Overall, I’m giving Poached the benefit of the doubt since it’s still new. The food alone makes it worth trying again, and I’m hopeful they’ll fine-tune some of the atmosphere and layout details over time.
