Man this Food is so good the garlic sauce is too die for. I give it ten stars me and my family only eat Chinese from this place in the City…we have tried other places but they don’t it like Popo . The whole ribs was juicy and tender…. My daughter said she prefer this Chinese takeout then the Chinese buffet… everything was so Freshly made..as the kids would say it was BUSSIN BUSSIN

I stopped by after having this place on my radar for a while, though I just missed the lunch specials, which seemed like a great value. I went with the coconut shrimp, having enjoyed the chicken version elsewhere. The rice had a slight aftertaste at first, but improved once mixed with the curry. The shrimp were fresh, though a bit too heavily battered for my taste, and the coconut sauce was rich but didn’t really stand out in terms of flavor. For around $15, I got rice, curry, an egg roll, and iced tea.
The owner has been running the place for 40 years, which gives it a sense of history. That said, there isn’t a single chair or table, so I ended up eating on the steps of a nearby church. There was a park close by, but by then I just needed somewhere to sit.
Eating out in the open in Trenton is its own experience. It’s not uncommon for multiple people to approach you, sometimes persistently, asking for money or food. The stories are often emotional, and if you’re fortunate, you may feel okay sharing—but the asks here tend to be more direct and forward than I’ve seen in most places, except maybe parts of D.C. Sometimes, all you want is to eat your meal in peace. I gave away my egg roll without tasting it—no regrets, but it did leave me thinking. Was I helping someone truly in need, or just caught off guard in a moment when I was trying to pause and enjoy a meal?

If I’m being honest, I never go alone because of its location. The People inside and outside , no parking. Even before Covid. But, since Covid-19 it has changed a lot. The taste, the amount of food given and yes the price. but it’s still my number one place to go for chicken wings and pork fried rice. Because of the amount of food that they give you, I’m now asking for extra just to see what ever I’m ordering. Her egg rolls have gone down a lot. They’re dry and smaller.

Oh my goodness, really great food for a decent price. I got the pork and broccoli, great tasting sauce on it, flavorful. The wonton soup was soooo hot and fresh you can tell it was freshly made. Great food and I will order again!

I ordered shrimp and broccoli with lo mein noodles, it taste sooo bad. It was waaaaay too salty, grease dripping off of it and for $10+ it only came with 4 shrimps. The food was awful. I feel sick after eating it. And I probably got high blood pressure now. Oh and the noodles were all stuck together like it was one big noodle.
Back in the day I used to go here all the time, I haven’t been in years so I thought why not go tonight. I went tonight and now I remember why I stopped going. They can’t cook. And they use way too much salt.
