American cheese was added to my po-boy. When I picked up the ordered and realized the wrong cheese was added. I requested for Swiss cheese please and I would pay for it. Was handed a box with cheese (did not check it), then requested a refund and would give them back the food. Was told no, since I ordered online. Well I get home to find out, they put more American cheese in the box. NOT SWISS like requested. So I just threw away 15$ and they do not care. I called them to make sure their Swiss cheese was not orange, told him I requested Swiss from the lady at the window. She did not tell him that. Did not even offer to remake it. Which would have been fine. Would have waited or went back. Or anything of that matter.

The food is excellent the employees are very courteous and willing to actually help you. The Establishment is very clean has a clean restroom as well! I have never had anything that wasn’t great and always in and out quickly.

Went to get a shrimp po-boy…they made it with topping I asked not to be on there. Went back to get the correct po-boy I asked for….they re-made it supper quick! Fresh as can be, piping hot! Between the food and the customer service, I see why they have been a Baton Rouge staple for many years.

Historically, this has been my go to stop when I’m in town. I routinely go to the location in cedarcrest, however due to time constraints, I came to this location. When you have to lift the bread and toppings for evidence of shrimp, you’ve taken the name too literal. When I asked the young lady was this the correct portion size she even looked dismayed and said “I don’t know, I didn’t fix it”…. Smh

Hold up, folks! Po-Boy Express ain’t your average sandwich shop. This place is a GAME CHANGER. That Burger Steak Plate? Lord have mercy, it’s a revelation! Tender steak, perfectly seasoned, and served on a bed of hot fries! OMG… it’s the whole package. And don’t even get me started on the value. You get a feast for a steal. The service? Top-notch, always with a smile. Don’t sleep on Po-Boy Express. Your taste buds (and your wallet) will thank you.

Placing a pickup order for a group and the young fellow working the phone lines on Aug, 27 @ around 4:30 pm told me I should know which Coke products are available. He also mentioned he didn’t have time to let me know which drinks were available, b/c he had people in front of him. Last time order food from a drive thru. Not sure who these folks hate most, their clients, their jobs, or themselves. 0/10 will not go again : (
