Man this review hurts .e just because it was a recommendation a d we were excited to try it. We dont get to this side of town often but we had meetings near so made the effort to go check it out. The 1st tbing we noticed was at 3 pm so smack dab in the middle of most places bd..the parking lot was packed because it is next to several restaurants and stores. When you walk in it is dark decor …plush purple velvety type seats. Ornament over head lighting in the styke of a chandelier type. So not a bad atmosphere from an looks stand point. Here is the part that threw us..there is a nice full bar there with a bartender. The bartender comes to the table and asked for drinks my wife ordered a soda and I asked for a Stella. They only had bottle and not tap. So you know Stella is a unique beer as it has its own glass and a foam scrapper. They did not have tap but the bottle. Stella has a high paper set up so you would need ro rip the paper to drink right out the bottle not the most sanitary so I asked for a glass. They brought back a reusable plastic cup…not a throw away red solo but one from. Like a chuckie cheese or something because even Applebee’s uses glass. Its was cloudy and did not make the Stella taste great. Then we ordered the plushy wings. Not bad breaded so know that…kind of reminded me of the hooters Daytona wings. This one was also bad…you have this upscale decor and do not use glass …they also gave out paper napkins. So that also did not match the experience. Now remember I told you we ordered the wings …my wife wanted to get the fried chicken dinner ..that was recommended by the bartender. Right as he is going to walk away my wife says is that a breast and wing or leg and thigh….he says no its a wing dinner. The description slash header gives it a different impression. We read a couple reviews that we had to get the cornbread. Well our food took over 30 minutes to come out and there were not a full set of tables. The cornbread was cold and they did not offered special butter with it…not no litter hotel packets… not parlay not margarine…nothing !!!. We had a couple of sides that were ok and my wife said the chicken sa which was delicious. I had the catfish and that was not bad. I rout for minority eaterys and I hope this one improves on a few things. I will wait sometime but I will give them another chance. Good luck guys!

The food here is amazing! Jerk chicken Alfredo was full of flavor and spicy. The chocolate chip cookie was warm and gooey, went well with the ice cream. Salmon bites were fantastic as well, tender and flaky. Chicken wings were decent and the sauces for the wings hit. Also, this is easily the best cornbread I’ve ever had! They have redefined what cornbread should taste like. Excellent customer service and the vibes are relaxed. Would absolutely come back to Plush!

I can enjoy a bit of gamey meat of goodness every now and then, and these lamb chops were absolutely scrumptious, perfectly paired with my mocktail. My first time indulging in such a Plush experience, and it didn’t disappoint.

I’ve waited to give a review after 3 visits. What I can say is the food is consistently good but not consistent. My first visit everything was AMAZING! The second the food was good but not nearly as good as my first visit and my third the food was good but not as good as the other two visits. Both my second and third visits the service was so slow I almost wanted to walk out. During all my visits there were not a lot of people in there, no more than 8 people including my party. So I’m really confused why the service is all slow. I’ve usually gone earlier in the day but my last visit was foe my son’s birthday and after telling our waitress it was a birthday we found they don’t offer anything for birthdays. The music is loud for such a small space and after a certain time the lights dim and the music gets louder. This made it very difficult to hear the people at my table. Each time I ordered the lamb chops, yams and green beans. The lamb is always good but not consistently delicious like it was my first time ordering. The green beans also good but not as food as my first time ordering the last time they seemed to have a lot more salt, the yams have been consistent. The catfish was good but salty also and not served with hot sauce. The Mac and cheese has a good flavor but was so greasy we didn’t any of it. My mashed potatoes were ice cold, I didn’t complain because I didn’t want to wait on hot potatoes The bathroom could use some help also. The lock was broken and it wasn’t that clean. Over all the food is good but the service is subpar and the atmosphere is so cute but the musics volume can really ruin the vibe. I’d say go visit and come up with your own opinion.

Food was pretty good, greens were good but slightly salty, catfish was TASTY cornbread was cold and dry, had to wait for a fresh batch, it was ok.
Small but cute environment, music was loud. Employees have no uniforms and I genuinely thought a customer was grabbing their own receipt
Limited menu on Sundays (no fries available for kid in tow)
15% gratuity on all checks
Service was somewhat slow, only 2 waitresses, waited about 35 mins for food

Had a chance to check out Plush in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, for brunch, and this spot definitely delivered an ultimate vibe! The decor inside was on point, and the staff were friendly, adding to the experience.
The shared parking lot is a decent size, which is convenient, but it can get challenging when the other businesses in the area are busy.
A friend and I tried the bottomless mimosas at $25/person, which felt a bit overpriced, especially since my glass hit the bottom a couple of times. Definitely something to consider if you’re debating the value.
For food, I had:
• Lamb chops – seasoned to perfection, though the portion size was small.
• Mac & cheese – rich and savory with a great cheese pull.
• Greens – they were so good they reminded me of how my grandmother makes them!
• Cornbread – sweet and tasty, the perfect addition to the meal.
The R&B playing in the background really set the mood and added to the ambiance. However, while the food and vibe were great, spending $70+ on brunch feels steep in today’s economy. It’s also important to note that they automatically include gratuity in your bill, so be aware of that when you’re planning your visit.
Overall, a great spot for a one-time experience, but not one I’d visit often at that price point.

Plush – Brooklyn Park
Food is a solid 10/10! I had the chicken, yams, cornbread, and mac & cheese all delicious. Drinks are great and reasonably priced. The music is always on point, and the vibe is drama-free. Definitely a perfect spot for ladies’ night, a family outing, or a night out with the guys. Staff is super inviting and friendly. Go catch a vibe at Plush you won’t be disappointed!

They are super thirsty. I went to order a to go order and left and came back. They charged me a 15% tip fee. Which is highly inappropriate. They didnt wait on my. All they did was hand me a bag! They also charged me a card service fee which i paid cash. Then I asked about it and they said that both were automatic and couldnt be removed. I find that hard to believe that they cant do any alters and if thats the cash management is shady because there should be an option for cash and to go orders. Absolutely wrong
Imagine going to Home Depot and you spend money about 200 bucks there in the cashier says okay I’m charging you 15% for shopping with us. Thats $30! And they aint did nothing.
Remind you the cooks should be getting paid from their employer! We already paid for the food at menu price so whats the extra tip for when aint no one waiting on me for a to go order.

I’ve been Plush a few times for birthday celebrations and once just because. I barely order food at Plush because they take a while to where I’ll get so caught up in conversation, I’ll forget I ordered food lol! The last time I went which was the first week in February, I got there around midnight. I like the music and vibe. The only thing I cannot stand is how loud the music is! I thought it was because I’m getting older lol but no. You know in the club, you can get up on the side of someone’s face and talk in their ear and you can hear them? In Plush, you have to be right in a person’s ear! I could barely hear myself. Plush is a restaurant/lounge. It’s not built for club volume music at all. The music has nowhere to travel to and nothing to bounce off of and no acoustic treatment in the space.I stepped outside for a second and as soon I hit outside, my ears felt like I was coming from underwater. Try to not have volume set for a club in a room built for conversation. It can be turned up just not as loud as it was that night.
