We came days in a row because we really enjoyed the natural wines with $40 and $10 happy hour deals, paired with well-crafted dishes like beef tartare for two, tender pork sausage with generous fries, and light shrimp that complements white wine. The spacious garden offers room to relax, gather with friends, or unwind midweek. Perfect for happy hour or a weekend escape! Definitely coming back over and over. Not a lot of photos too busy enjoying the moment

My favorite wine bar in Brooklyn. Best pricing by the bottle I’ve seen, great food, and the people working here make the wine super accessible! They’re also always running fun events that they post about on their Instagram.

Had my birthday in their covered garden a while back with a large party and Lucy was super accommodating – helped me pick out some great bottles! I’d recommend to anyone who’s interested in wine or in the area.

Update: I hosted my 30th birthday party at Plus de Vin and would do it over again! They have a covered back garden area with heaters so it was not bad at all in January. This was everything I could have dreamed for my party. We had a server coming in and out the entire time. Lucy was fantastic and very attentive! The patio was able to fit 40 people or so. I will continue to recommend the bread and butter, the best. Carenn (the owner) and her team at the best at PdV (Jan’25)

New little local neighborhood (natural) wine bar. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful. Neutral and classy. Was our first time going here and will definitely be coming back often. Each just ordered a glass of wine plus the bread and butter and olives but that butter was probably the best homemade butter I’ve ever had. The amount of olives we got in the order was a good amount. Super cute garden in the back. Reminded me of the cocktail bar “Zest” in Seoul. PDV is 10/10 (Nov ‘24)

Plus de Vin is a new Natural. wine bar in Williamsburg on the cusp of Greenpoint. Their take on list format (a wall of beautiful bottles) and fresh well thought out menu are a welcome addition to the world of Brooklyn wine bars. The staff was knowledgeable and thoughtful, this counter service concept comes across as cozy as any place in Brooklyn with table service. 10/10 will return with more people to try more bottles!

I hosted my engagement party at Plus de Vin and it was an absolute dream! The staff was kind and attentive and made sure that we had wine and food flowing the entire night. Our friends raved about the space. Working with Carenn was exceptional, from wine recommendations to logistics, she made sure that we had a great party. I cannot wait to be back!

Excellent place to try some crisp whites or full bodied reds. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. They keep an efficient menu of snacks that pair well with the wine. Continue to be impressed with this team.

Really disappointing experience here. I’ll preface this by saying that I typically love coming here and have been here many times. This past time, I ordered a gamay from the bottle list. I was told it was out of stock and recommended a different bottle. When I asked which one it was on the bottle list, I realized this was about $30 more than the previous bottle I had ordered. I chalked that up to a misunderstanding and went with a different bottle. Upon closing out my tab, I realized that the price was off ~$20 more than the actual bottle cost. When I asked why that was, I was told they actually had brought out a different vintage, something that was not communicated to me at the time I ordered. Again, it could have been an honest mistake, but I was then met with an attitude for even questioning the price. After talking through it, the server agreed to honor the initial price but did so reluctantly with no apology for the situation. Super disappointing as I’ve been here a number of times and have generally had a great time.

plus de vin has officially become my favorite wine bar in brooklyn. the environment is the best – i could (and have) spend hours sitting in the backyard. the wine selection is great and the happy hour deals are awesome. the food is just as good – the shrimp and mushroom toast are my favorites. so glad this place opened up in williamsburg!

This place rules — a fun, finessed, contemporary NYC wine and snack joint without the heavy-handed pretentiousness of yesteryear. The wines range from fresh and accessible to classic and comforting. The food absolutely slaps. Those fries are insane: your nostalgic dream fry but like, with rosé! Or Beaujolais! Or beef tartare! The servers know their stuff, they’re kind, they’re fast. No notes.

This is the best neighborhood wine bar we could’ve asked for East Williamsburg. Incredible wines, incredible service, incredible food. The backyard is heated and lovely. Don’t skip this neighborhood treasure.
