Always hot and always delicious! Service is also the best, very friendly! Best pizza in Athens! They messed up my order once in the 2 years I’ve been ordering here and it was minor ..they forgot onions… They offered to make a new one but we were OK with it and they would not charge me for it.. My pizza was free despite my protest.. Our server said it was a family business and his grandpa said if it wasn’t right it was free. We left a larger tip to try to cover the cost of the pizza. Super nice place! I work in Athens and get delivery at least weekly and it arrives steaming hot!

MUST TRY!!! I ordered from Plus 1 Pizza the first time because I’d received a coupon in the mail. That was more than two years ago. The food is amazing! Whether it’s pizza, subs, stromboli or wings I promise you won’t find better in Athens County. They don’t scimp on toppings. There’s always enough to fill you up. It’s the number one go to for any food I don’t make myself. The prices remain reasonable and I can feed two of us for the same amount of less that I’d spend at any of the numerous fast food restaurants around. Their loyalty program is amazing as. I am constantly getting rewarded for eating there.
If I had any complaints at all about this establishment it would only be that the service is sometimes not the best. I attribute that to the fact of a fast turnover of employees in any business such as this. Saying that I have to add that management is more than willing to listen to and address any complaint I’ve had.
Eat where you choose but as for my household it will continue to be Plus 1 Pizza.

Well, I am not a fake user and I love their pizza. So here is a honest review for ya. I used to get papa johns all the time but recently I had been getting sick every time I ate there. So I decided to order from plus one pizza and now I do so about once a month. I think they quite possibly have the best pizza I have ever had. Their sauce is a little sweeter which I love, and the crust is delicious as well. It isn’t as “doughy” tasting if that makes any sense. Everything is always perfect when I order from there. I have tried many different kinds of pizza and haven’t had one kind I didn’t like. My favorite is just plain cheese with the old world pepperoni (the pepperoni isn’t spicy and is crispy which I personally love). Although veggie pizza with their white garlic sauce is a close second. Give them a shot, they might just become your new favorite.

Disappointed in Plus 1 Pizza in Athens with my recent orders. I used to order several times per month and have been a customer for 5+ years. The quality and quantity of the food has not been as good over the last year. I stopped ordering pizzas as the prices continue to climb and far out pace price increases at other places. They now charge for crust toppers and drizzles on top of pizza too. The web specials went from $6.49 each for 2 medium pizzas to $9.99 each. If you get the crust topper or drizzle, the price pushes to $12/pizza. This is almost double the prior price just last year for the same pizza. We continue to order spaghetti, but they are cutting corners on the parmesan cheese and order sizes now. Management also seems stressed and not nearly as friendly to customers if you have an issue with an order.

Plus One is the only place I regularly order from in Athens. They have the best gluten free pizza in town (tip: order it well done for a crispy crust) and my wife loves the regular crust pizza as well. Hardly ever mess up my order and the one or two times they did it was remedied right away. Fair prices, delicious sauce and drizzle options, and they don’t skimp on toppings. I recommend them over any other place in town. In fact I plan to order tonight.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. Is it the best pizza I’ve ever eaten though? No. The quality of the pizza gets this place a 4, but what really earned its five was its very well designed app and online ordering structure. As a vegetarian who often likes to remove and add things from pizza orders I often find that many specialty pizza shops have that one “veggie pizza” option and it usually has everything i like except maybe one or two things. Other places and apps like Grubhub, are designed so that you cannot substitute a veggie topping for another of basically equal value after removing one without incurring an extra charge for the addition which I always found frustrating and backed customers against a wall if you are really hungry, almost blackmail-ly, like “hey you want your food, gotta pay the extra charge that makes no sense”. I’m glad to see a company either recognized the logic in them being equivalent and a charge was unnecessary or saw that the design of that substitution feature was flawed and fixed it. And also the number of options for customization was really cool overall. Nice place

I was pleasantly surprised by plus one. Their marketing material gave me the impression they were a low quality chain pizza, but after trying their pizza I’d say that’s not the case. Their recipe tastes unique, and I particularly appreciate the large selection of cheeses I can choose from that most places don’t offer. Now all I need is more coupons 😉

Seems to have gone down hill. We use to order regularly from them and was our favorite place to order pizza, subs, wings, and pretty much everything. Our last order was unacceptable, we ordered two subs, and wings. It was all delivered in a small plastic bag with the wing sauce dripping on our subs. Subs were soggy, The wings are now ordered by the 1/2 pound, not 6 wings or 12. My husband only got 4 wings bone in,, which the bones were all broken. Questioning my loyalty with them. Maybe a bad day, but not sure if we will order again. BTW, we always give a healthy tip.

I wish I would have found out sooner! During my junior and senior year prior to my graduation I would always buy my pizza from dominios, although that was a mistake considering how much better in taste and quality plus 1 pizza is I think it’s fair to say that they are one of the top dogs when it comes the pizza industry here in Athens and the cost is very reasonable! It’s also nice to support your local businesses and not these large corporations.
