Was ignored at entrance by the counter lady until someone came to greet us. She was comfortable talking to another person and never said “hi” or “welcome” Just looked and continued talking to this women.
Other than that incident we were seated and got served right away as it was not busy. The food was really good just not the rice, as it had some seasoning over the top added to it which isn’t that authentic in Mexican food.
Everything else was so delicious. Customer service and waiter was awesome and nice. Clean and beautiful decorations. Waiter got a good tip though because of her being kind and nice. I forgot to mention that the guacamole had a dark color on the edges. I did get diarrhea after coming home. Maybe it wasn’t that but I guess. Will probably come back but not order anything that has guacamole in it.

I came here with my family over the weekend. I got the pancho villa plate. It’s essentially a marinated beef burrito with beans and rice, smothered with guacamole and sour cream. Guacamole had a dark color to it, it was probably prepared a while in advance, and was sitting out exposed to the air. You could taste the funk, so that was a little off-putting, especially since the addition of the guacamole typically makes a price of a meal higher. My wife got the conquistador, which is essentially a Colorado beef version of the Pancho Villa. Her guacamole was also discolored. The beef tasted great from both dishes. The little guy got french fries and he really liked them. We also got the fried ice cream. We ordered the fried ice cream for one, but we ended up getting the fried ice cream for two. When seated, you are provided with complementary chips and salsa. I would describe the Salsa as spicy pizza sauce, not quite my thing, but it is complementary after all. I noticed the menu mentioned the portions are generous, but I think they are average at best. Especially if you factor in the price. I really do enjoy the inside of Plum Loco. The tile floor is visually appealing to me and they seem to have lighting just right. The menu doesn’t have a lot of more authentic Mexican dishes, which is more of my preference. The place was fun to try, but overall not quite what I like. But give them a try and they may be the right place for you.

The restaurant has plenty of seating even for large groups. There is mexican music playing for that mexican restaurant atmosphere. The complimentary chips and salsa are provided. The problem is salsa is served in a squirt bottle for patrons to share. If you like hot salsa ask for the hotter one, it’s served in a small bowl and has great flavor. The fajitas I ordered were beef and chicken and each was cubed as if they were precooked and reheated. These were to include green peppers and onions. Onions were missing except for a few shavings. Again, it looks as someone has decided cost is more important. Speaking of cost their dishes are not cheap and many are missing the ample lettuce, cheese and tomato that many mexican dishes have. I hope these tips help to increase customer levels.

The food here has always been decent. Nothing that will blow you away in terms of taste, but reasonably good. I’ve been here often enough that I’ve tried most things on the menu, and it’s all pretty good, but nothing that really stands out.
Service on the other hand is marginal at best. Be prepared to wait to be seated. Last visit took them 15 minutes before anyone even came up front to check if guests were waiting. I nearly walked out, but didn’t want to deal with the traffic to go somewhere else. Also be prepared to wait to pay. I have to wonder how much they lose to people just walking out on their bills.
I wish I could rate this place higher, but it’s clear that the owners just don’t care to hire people that are willing to provide decent service. Even just hiring more people to help with the mediocre service would help, but I’ve been here often enough over the years to know that’s unlikely to happen. I think I’ll stick with Pathan’s from here on out.

I came here for a catered event serving tacos. The food was bland. The shrimp was overcooked. I was disappointed that the food didn’t taste authentic and didn’t offer more flavors of salsa or fresh veggies to top them. Just shredded lettuce and tomatoes. I eat better tacos at my house. This was not worth paying for.

The new management has definitely brought back the quality those of us remember from Curt days and when it was Mi Casas. The name will be changing soon, but it will be the food we all loved.

Service was good, but the food was not. I hate to say this but the salsa tasted like the pizza sauce from lunchables and the tamale had no seasoning on the chicken. So it tasted very bland.

The “salsa” comes in a squeeze bottle. It was more like taco bell hot sauce, which, by the way, I love. I ordered a smoked brisket burrito. Yeah I would argue that. No smoke, to much sauce, and it was more like stew beef that had been cooked in a pressure cooker. Fatty, grisly and the sauce was some kind of attempt at a mole style liquid. Way over priced for the quality and portions. Server was nice.
