I thought I had left a review years ago! My wife and I have been going here regularly for almost 5 years at this point. It is by far the best sushi in Orange County and quite frankly better than all of spots we’ve been to in the city. Chef Andy and his wife Jenny are always incredibly polite people as well as the rest of the staff and provide a very family friendly environment. The fish is always super fresh, all of the appetizers are incredibly delicious. The sushi rolls are beyond out of this world! Speaking of the rolls, if you know you, “Never Know”!

Great place away from the city. I loved the “hot rolls” and do see the best possible effort to make good sushi overall. I am spoiled by NYC top restaurants, so my food quality comparison is distorted. Price/value – phenomenal. Highly recommended as a choice for sushi in Monroe.

After needing to find a new sushi restaurant, we tried the Plum House. It’s amazing to think that we haven’t tried the restaurant before. The food is amazing! If you’re looking for a great and relaxing venue, then I’d invite you to the Plum House. Whether you are looking for lunch or dinner, there are numerous options to choose from.
For lunch we had the triple roll lunch special and salad. The rolls selected were: The Crispy Plum House, Spicy Yellowtail, and a Peanut Avcado Roll. Overall, the food is fresh and leaves your stomach feeling satisfied. My friend had the Devil’s Kiss Roll that contained salmon, tuna, eel, and yellowtail. I had to try a piece and was delighted! They also had the Spicy Monroe Soup which contained a delicious blend of spices and vegetables. You will find a scrumptious piece of fish in the bowl as well 🙂
Overall, I give the Plum House a five star and will add them to the list of places to eat!

First visit to Plum House, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! I was skeptical before going, thinking this was more of a Sushi spot, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a wide assortment of other offerings that include Hibachi style items such as steak, chicken, and shrimp, which is really what we all were looking forward to.
The inside is small but comfortable, and nicely decorated. Prices are reasonable. Service is excellent. Parking appears to be primarily on the street. Will visit again. RECOMMENDED.

Myself and other friends enjoy going to Plum house for sushi. The food is fresh, flavorful & absolutely delicious! We’ve never had a bad meal here. Service is good even when all tables are full.
