I’m a firm believer in giving a new restaurant a few tries before giving a review if at all possible. Plucker’s Shenandoah opened January 26, 2026. There has been so many reviews posted about not enough seating or food is not cooked right. I’ve yet to run into any of these issues. And if I did, I know that they are training their staff as fast as possible and they are only seating at 75% capacity until staff is somewhat fully trained. They have communicated this in person and there is also a sign hanging at the entrance that states this. You can always get on the waitlist and stay home until your table is almost ready.
Now, the food! The food has been nothing but good the many times I have dined with in the last couple of weeks. It comes out hot and fresh. You are able to customize anything on their menu. It may have a small cost but most definitely worth it to have what you’d like to your specific taste.
The service! Who are these people? Who trained them? Absolutely nothing but great service from the greeter to the janitor cleaning the restroom. I hope this vibe stays the same as it has on my many visits. This restaurant has been what seems to be super packed since they opened and every worker has the biggest smile with the warmest welcome.
I’ve had Gabby, Braden, Gisele, Casey, Evelyn, Alexandra, Xavier, Daniella, just to name a few. Fantastic servers and bartenders! Attendees clearing the tables. Not once did a dirty dish sit on our table. The managers, coming by to make sure we are all good and didn’t need anything. Even had a chuckle with one of the managers about a sign. Very appreciated!
One con: one visit my Pluckers Michelada had a little too much sauce for my liking. Probably not on the bartender at all could just be me. This was NOT a deal breaker! I came back. A few times. Lol.
Give them a try. Be patient! It’s most definitely worth it.

Ok if you are reading this, go order a dirty soda, the loaded waffle fries app, the buffalo chicken salad entree and the fried Oreo dessert!!! Just trust me, 10/10 recommend these menu items!!!
Also, love love love that this location is brand new, it’s super clean, modern and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was so sweet and the best part is Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays! @thathoustonmom

I don’t get the hype, it’s a glorified wing joint. I’m glad we didn’t wait the 2 hr the first time . When we did make it back our food did come out pretty quick but it was cold, not warm COLD. Couldn’t actually enjoy it.

Too many complaints on the reviews, like wow… y’all ask for too much. But anyways, I had a good experience on one of their training days (Friday Jan. 23) Pluckers never disappoints. My waitress was Michelle and she was sweet, as well as her trainer. Of course, she’s still in training mode, so I won’t give her a bad review cuz of that. I got strawberry lemonade, chicken with tots, and fried Oreos with ice cream although I believe I got spicy garlic parmesan instead of regular garlic parmesan .. cuz I’m weak and I don’t do spicy but that’s ok cuz it was for free. Gotta grow on my spice levels. Needless to say, it was good. Vibe was good. Workers were amazing. I will be returning next paycheck 😉
Also, parking is small, so be aware and don’t complain about that.

We were just here the other day for my birthday and back again today!! Kenley was our waitress today and she was absolutely amazing!! Completely different experience than the other day!! We’ll be regulars and will always wait so we can get Kenley!!

Annie was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Our drinks were always full, our food came out hot and fresh, and she checked in at just the right times without being overbearing.
She really went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, and her positive attitude made the whole experience even better. If you’re dining here, definitely ask for Annie—you won’t be disappointed!

Great atmosphere, service was good. This is a new restaurant and so the whole staff is training. I appreciated the fact that they make a great effort to keep everything clean as people come and go. Everybody is smiling and super friendly.. However, they’ve gotta work on their kitchen. It took a really long time for our food to come out and my lunch was cold. I ordered the eight piece spicy lemon combo with the loaded fries The taste was OK, but it was hard to eat because it was cold. I’ll take it home and heat it up for dinner. But the service was so good. I’ll definitely give them another chance since I work right here in the Woodlands.

Was unsure about dinning in based on the reviews but after my experience 01/29/26 interacting with my serve, she took the Time to explain that Pre opening week was for new staff to HELP GAIN experience( it was FREE FOOD btw!!) ppl really find anything to complain about now days. My experience the week of the grand opening was amazing, do not regret giving it a chance.
1st impression Isme and Caroline host team, they were amazing!! Very welcoming atmosphere, outstanding hospitality. They were very accommodating to my request. Isme guide us to our table and was very knowledgeable to our questions, her patience and great attitude towards us was very good, less than 2min our server arrived , Isme explained one of my guest at my table it was her first time dinning in, she let my server Gabriela know, and let me say that was an outstanding experience!!! I was able to enjoy my meal, had a great service, fast, and friendly, as well as my other guest. Got introduced to the App to where I didn’t even had knowledge of( and I’ve been to pluckers before, at other locations), yes we did signed up. I will definitely be going there again, don’t get blindsided by the reviews.

Mid at best. Ordered Cajun and Spicy Lemon Pepper. The wings may as well have been “no sauce,” because they were bland. They also forgot the fries for the combo.
The service was ok. They took an extra 15 minutes but it’s expected at a busy location. Still, for the extra wait, one would expect the order to at least be correct.
My advice is to just drive to the better locations, or make sure to add a few extra sauces to your order; otherwise, you’ll end up with bland wings.

I had a great experience, I was there as soon as they opened and sat at the bar, I was in at 11am and left at 11:45, I had my 10 wings and tots by 11:25, by the time I got my wings there’s was a pretty substantial line waiting. I would say for the next year keep the party small and try to get there early and sit at the bar. The wings are still the best in my opinion in the state. They are still training with trainers so it’s going to take patience for a few months.
