Blind trust report: 4 stars out of Five… A Family Friendly treat highly recommended for a road trip destination or before a weekend getaway from Fayetteville to hike at uwharrie national Forest; well worth the drive. In my opinion all restaurants receive 3 stars at the beginning of the blind trust report. How well can you blindly trust your restaurant? Food for thought

Nice little place. Had a hot dog combo with potato salad. The bun is house made. A nice compliment for the hotdog. The cherry cake was excellent.

This is by far the BEST homemade food all around. The MoMA really puts the love in her cooking and the ice cream is the BEST homemade I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming There’s still some nice people in the world and this family is it!

Our first time and yes it was good but, TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! I had seen that they had homemade “mini” peach cobblers with homemade ice cream so I thought, oh what a great treat but who charges $21.00 for two peach cobblers and one scoop of vanilla ice cream? That’s crazy in my opinion, that’s meal prices! We loved it but can’t afford those prices!!

Wonderful home made icecream! Every flavor we have tried has been great and they are so sweet. Haven’t tried the food or cakes yet, but I can’t wait! Love to have a place like this so close to home in our little town!

I live in MP about 3 MINUTES from the Sweet Shop. The service is impeccable and friendly.
The atmosphere is totally down home, and amazing. Brings back so many memories. The treats and sweets are homemade and quite delicious. I try to order something different each visit. The cobblers are filled with so much love and amazing yumminess. The ice cream has that awesome taste of creaminess that you can only get from being homemade.
The hotdogs and buns are homemade as well, topped with homemade chili and slaw.
Take a trip to MPs newest addition, you will be glad you did.
