it can be a little hard finding parking, but the food makes it worth it. i’ve never really had an british-style breakfast so this was a new but pleasant experience. the sauce on the curry chips was really good. i also really liked the mushroom and kale pie. it can feel a little dry at times so i wish i got it with the mash

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Scotch egg and the steak pie both looked too good to eat and tasted out of this world. The rarebit was super good too. Our was great and friendly and the environment is so comfy and cute. 10/10!

A pub with a bit of true British flair.
We stopped in for brunch/lunch as we awaited our bike repair across the street. The atmosphere was charming & buzzing with people.
What we had:
– Blueberry French Toast (good)
– Pub Burger (yes, please)
– Chicken Royal Pie (good, but when I think of curry spices I like a stronger flavor profile & maybe even a little spice)
All of the dishes were good, and we would recommend them.

Very British eats. Had the steak and ale pie which I crowned, thats mash potatoes and gravy on the top of it. Over it was great. Prices were 12-15$ an entree. They have many beers on tap that change from time to time.

The atmosphere here is wonderful, and just screams cozy English pub. Our server was also great tonight and we never felt ignored or left wanting. But the food, god damn the food here is amazing. We split a scotch egg and curry wurst with the table, and both had great flavor. My only critique would be I wish there was more sauce on the fries. We finished with the Steak and Ale pie, crowned with mash and gravy, and it was just divine. Love that they have a beer selection from the UK as well. Can’t wait to come back again.

This place is lovely. I’ve been wanting to go for years and recently my sister and brother in law came from Wales so this was the perfect time. Food is excellent, I had the full English and it was spot on. Only thing missing was fried bread and the black pudding could have been bigger. The freshly brewed tea was delicious. My brother in law got the steak and ale pie with the mashed topper and he loved it. Wife
Had the croque madame and she loved it. The other guests had French toast and they also loved their food. Definitely going back.

Gorgeous space (perfect for curling up during non-peak hours) for a light read. Then there’s the delectable (vegetarian) pie offerings — I got the pumpkin mole seasonal special and have zero regrets.

Came in for late lunch after a random Google search for “food” and couldn’t be more happy with the decision. Baretender provided great recommendations. Vibe is laid back and relaxed. Never felt rushed or unwelcomed. Had the chicken balti, steak and ale pie, scotch egg and sticky toffee pudding.

Delicious British food, great service, excellent tap list. Steak and ale pie, bangers and mash, scotch egg were all excellent. The scottish ale is creamy and perfectly poured.

The atmosphere here is absolutely wonderful and immediately gives off the charm of a cozy English pub, making it feel warm and inviting from the moment you step in. The service is just as impressive—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we never felt ignored or waiting for too long. But the true highlight is the food—absolutely phenomenal. This spot nails a Chicago-inspired twist on the classic English gastropub, offering savory pies that are rich, hearty, and bursting with flavor. The menu itself is unique and creative, with so many standout options that it’s hard to choose, and honestly, you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. A must-visit for anyone looking for comfort food done with flair.
