Food quality / price (value) rating 9. The atmosphere is eclectic antique curio shop. This was my first visit here, and I came specifically for breakfast. I had the special Apple Pancakes, that had an apple compote mixed in with the batter, and included some sliced banana and berry compote as well. The pancakes had a slightly crispy exterior which added a wonderful inexpected texture. The food and the coffee were both very good. The service was not real good, however. They seem to be lacking well trained or experienced wait staff, as things like not bringing butter with the pancakes, not refilling coffee, and not coming for payment of the check in a timely manner after bringing the check. The men’s restroom was not clean, and the fixtures were dirty.

An amazing place! Incredibly creative and welcoming host — a true professional. The food was unbelievably delicious. We arrived at the restaurant after it had already closed, but the owner, Craig, who happened to be outside at the time, insisted that we come in and have dinner. He personally prepared us an incredible meal and treated us to wine. Craig is an exceptionally generous and kind person. Everything in this place is made with love and warmth. It was an unforgettable dinner. Thank you, Craig!

Quaint little shop where everything is for sale. Not the biggest menu selections, but delicious none the less and you MUST go in the men’s bathroom. We’ve been talking about the “david” situation for days. If you know, you know

My friends and I such a fantastic time at Pleasant and Main. Beautiful decorations, delicious food, great music, and the kindest service! Our server was sweet enough to offer us some desserts on the house and take our photos by their beautiful fireplace and Christmas tree. I would highly recommend visiting this lovely restaurant!

Despite having just closed up the kitchen to prepare for a big wedding, the owner Craig seated us, turned the grills back on, and made us a lovely and delicious quick meal. We got to chatting about being New Yorkers (where Craig used to live and ran a restaurant in the West Village.) The space he’s made is so charming and a testament to his spirit as a creative. Despite our protest, he comped our meal and even gave us a bag of juicy organic peaches, plums, and apples from an abandoned orchard.

Craig is an absolute gem of a human, he’s so incredibly generous and kind. I hope you’ll give Pleasant and Main a try to get a taste of his delicious food and experience his hospitality.

Thank you, Craig!

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed! We had the coffee, eggs benedict, and crepes and they were all amazing. The owner was kind enough to serve us himself and was friendly with great service! Had a fire going out back, can only imagine how great this place is in the warmer months!

Do not get food here. Here is a photo of the kitchen (sorry about the poor photo quality); it is cluttered, poorly lit, and looked filthy. If every surface is being used as storage, I guarantee it isn’t cleaned on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. And where there is open clutter, there are rodents. I actually cannot even tell the difference between supplies and garbage in this kitchen. I got a coffee and got out of there as quickly as I could.

Also, others would make this place seem charming in a quirky sort of way; it’s not, they just haven’t cleaned it. Clutter everywhere, even in the dining area.

Great place. Antiques and restaurant cheek to cheek which makes for a great atmosphere. Besides the atmosphere, the food is really good. They use local grown ingredients. The small side salad that comes with the dishes is delicious. Crepes are perfect. When the season starts, make sure to have a reservation though walk-ins are welcome as well. There is some outdoor seating in the back.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat. The warm welcome from owner Craig set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The chef’s culinary creations were nothing short of extraordinary, each dish a masterpiece in its own right. What truly set this experience apart was Craig’s personal touch – taking the time to show us the set-up for their homemade maple syrup right in their own backyard was a delightful surprise. It’s rare to find such dedication to quality and hospitality. Our morning at this restaurant was truly a highlight, and we can’t wait to return for another exceptional dining experience.

This was a lovely and wonderful spot; my friend and I went to the Norman Rockwell Museum, and I discovered it when looking for restaurants nearby. They were full and asked if we had reservations, which we didn’t, but they still accommodated my friend and me. The cuisine was excellent; I had french toast and my buddy had a crepe and baked potatoes; all were excellent, with extremely fresh fruits on the side and raspberry puree. On the way out, the owner mentioned that they had a garden in the back and that we should go check it out. We did, and he offered to snap a picture of the two of us, which we thought was the sweetest thing. You can sense that the staff cares about their food and the environment, and I would definitely return if I were in the area.
