First time, loved it. Immediately served large dish of chips & salsa. Variety of draft beers. Our platters of food were hot, generous & great. Service was just right, clean & pleasant atmosphere. Good chipotle sauce to add a level of heat.

What a great place to eat! We were here fairly late after a sunset ferry ride in Beaufort, NC. The staff was friendly and we did not feel rushed. The food was wonderful and so was the service. The owner was there and spoke with me about a location in Jacksonville that is closer to our kids home. Can’t wait to check it out next time we visit! The restaurant was very clean as well.

I don’t know why we’ve never stopped here before, but I’m so glad we decided to try it. It was pretty busy, but we were seated immediately, and after we ordered, our food was on the table so fast I thought they were giving us somebody else’s order. The decor is typical Mexican restaurant with the same carved chairs as many other places, but the food is definitely a step above. The salsa that they brought for our chips is deliciius and probably the thickest I’ve ever had. We started with the chicken rolls served over a salad. For the main course, I had Chili Rellenos, and my wife had a chicken quesadilla. I’ve had better Rellenos, but these were large and tasty. My wife loved her meal. Of note is the fact that you can substitute black beans for refried beans. The draft beer is served in a frosted mug, and we are going to return in the near future.

Usually get outstanding customer service. But tonight our waiter brought out the wrong food. And argued with us about it! Laughing, showing no care at all. Not to mention the children’s entrees were brought out 15 minutes after the adults food. You can imagine how that went. When we spoke to the manager our waiter came over and continued to argue with us. Management here did the right thing and comped a portion of my bill. Don’t let this grumpy old man walk all over you.

A person waiting for the dressing rooms with us across the road at a clothing store heard us trying to figure out where to go and said this was their Mexican restaurant. We went and will be going back. My new favorite restaurant in Morehead. The Mexican Hibachi dish was rocking.

We tried Plaza Mexico MHC tonight, and we were impressed. It’s been a while since we’d eaten there, and they’ve updated their menu. Everything we (party of four) tried was delicious: Fajita Vallarta (steak, chicken, shrimp, & chorizo), Chicken Fajitas, Plantano Frito Relleno (plantain filled with steak & cheese) & Tiras De Pollo (chicken with cliantro, cheese sauce & chipotle cream). We also sampled the bean dip, choriqueso, & horchata – they were all tasty. The service was prompt and enthusiastic, and the music was very festive. We recommend you give them a try – you’ll enjoy!

One of our favorites! Delicious food, great drinks & awesome service. Taco Tuesday Specials – Yum! Also, they accommodate large groups with ease. A group of 21 of us were taken care of very well on A Tuesday (busy day) at 4:30p for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Highly recommended!
