This has to be the worst Mexican restaurant we have ever been to as far as the food. The chicken taco salad was horrible. Allot of water at bottom of the salad, the chicken was tough even shredded and very little cheese, two little slices of tomato a dab of sour cream and over priced for what was served. The salsa was like cheap spaghetti sauce with celantra and a little hot sauce. The restrooms were nasty. Our server was friendly, only reason for two stars

Welcoming staff, pleasant atmosphere. The authentic tacos snd homemade tamales were delicious! Mr M devoured his meal (see photo); said it was one of the best. I didn’t try the margaritas here, but they do have a full bar and several top shelf selections. Our server was such a sweet kid. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican dishes in this area, i highly recommend stopping here!

Definitely our new favorite Mexican restaurant ! ! Starting with the chips and salsa, lite and crispy chips and fresh salsa. Margaritas for just over $5. Lots of great choices on the menu and the prices can’t be beat. and our food, carnitas plate for my Wife, a large chicken burrito smothered in tasty sauce. I saw lots of seafood too. Did I say Great prices ! The staff was so nice too. We will return a d we’ll bring g our friends too

I just love this place! The food is always great, and the employees are very hardworking and the sweetest! If you haven’t experienced the live music with one of their margaritas, you are missing out. Highly recommend eating here if you want to eat some good food with an even better atmosphere! 🙂

we had my tennis banquet here and food was bomb 11/10. tacos were amazing 12/10. service was too good 15/10. i got the crunchy beef tacos with cheese and lettuce and it was great. the lettuce wasn’t soggy and the meat had lots of flavor. loved every minute i was there! thank you plaza mexican grill!

Okay so being from CA. I have had the pleasure of great Mexican Food. I have tried about 5 Mexican restaurants in TN near my house and have not really liked there interpretation of Mexican food. I have found I believe to be more authentic Mexican Food. This restaurant is fantastic. My husband and I have had a few dishes and I can say everyone of them has been great. I ordered the Tacos Trio 2 steak. 1 chicken so yummy. Seriously served with your choice of protein, onions. cilantro and avocado. Plus limes and rice and beans. The Margaritas are off the hook. Me . Try to sit in the bar area the service is faster and the waitress (Anna) I hope I gave it right is exceptional. You will know it is her, her smile lights up the room. If you go on Fridays or Saturday live music.

My service tonight was exceptional, our waitress was so nice and friendly! The food was next level, my family loved every dish that was brought out to us and the enchiladas were better than anywhere else around town! We will definitely be returning for margs and the wonderful service!
