Tried them out for a carryout dinner and happy to report the food is very good! Website is clean and easy to navigate, ordering process went smoothly. Food ready to pickup in 20 minutes, which is avg for local restaurant pickup times in Goodlettsville.

Food was ready and packaged neatly, took it home and dived in. I ordered the 3 tacos meal which came with rice and beans. The rice and beans were good/avg. I do wish spanish rice was made legit, I love home cooked spanish rice.

The three tacos were excellent I must say, I had steak/chorizo/chicken combo (you can order what protein you prefer).

Will definitely order again. Thank you Plaza Mexican Grill for your food and service! JC

Located in somewhat of a strip mall area….La Plaza is somewhat of a surprise as a slightly upscale Mexican restaurant. The furniture is detailed. The staff are very nice and the tortillas had a nice flavor from the grill. Only 4 stars just because the food wasn’t very hot. Some people were served fajitas at another table that were the customary “steam coming off” kind of heat. We didn’t though. We had a large group so I’m sure that added a challenge. The food was great and everyone liked theirs. They had gf and df options. Just ask your server.

I eat at plaza about twice a month. It’s my favorite Mexican restaurant. I try different things but my favorite is fajitas. They don’t mind making them the way you want. I also like the margaritas. They will make a skinny marg that is not so sugary. My favorite server is Miguel. I always know I’ll get good food and service at plaza

Great Mexican food! We were traveling from Florida to Indiana and stayed at a nearby hotel. The talented live music was a bonus. All four dinners we ordered were so good. Our server was friendly and fast. Would highly recommend.

Very poor experience. If you like burnt fajitas, this is the place for you. Not to mention $12 for lunch and the portion was extremely small. They can do better.

Was seated by a hostess who didn’t say a single word to us. Ordered two $14 entrees and two margaritas that had absolutely no alcohol in them and somehow our bill came to $61 before tip. Absolutely won’t be back.

Okay so being from CA. I have had the pleasure of great Mexican Food. I have tried about 5 Mexican restaurants in TN near my house and have not really liked there interpretation of Mexican food. I have found I believe to be more authentic Mexican Food. This restaurant is fantastic. My husband and I have had a few dishes and I can say everyone of them has been great. I ordered the Tacos Trio 2 steak. 1 chicken so yummy. Seriously served with your choice of protein, onions. cilantro and avocado. Plus limes and rice and beans. The Margaritas are off the hook. Me . Try to sit in the bar area the service is faster and the waitress (Anna) I hope I gave it right is exceptional. You will know it is her, her smile lights up the room. If you go on Fridays or Saturday live music.

I lived in El Paso for several years, so I was excited to try this place. The service was good, and the starter of chips and salsa were good. I ordered a frozen Margarita. It had a light taste of lime and a lighter dose of tequila. Tasted really watered down. It was only 4$, so I got what I ordered. I ordered the Molcajete to try a little of everything. I’m sorry, but the taste was bland and boring. The meat was overcooked when it came out. But since it was delivered in a heated stone bowl, it kept cooking while sitting on the table. By the time I was halfway through, I could not eat it anymore. It was too hard and dried out. When i could eat the meat, the shrimp had the best taste. I may have received a tablespoon of guacamole and sour cream, enough for one small taco. The best part of the meal was the beans.

This has to be the worst Mexican restaurant we have ever been to as far as the food. The chicken taco salad was horrible. Allot of water at bottom of the salad, the chicken was tough even shredded and very little cheese, two little slices of tomato a dab of sour cream and over priced for what was served. The salsa was like cheap spaghetti sauce with celantra and a little hot sauce. The restrooms were nasty. Our server was friendly, only reason for two stars

I chose the Enchiladas Veracruz, which I really enjoyed. The salsa had a nice flavor without being too spicy. They use a sturdy tortilla chip that doesn’t break when you dip it.

Service was pleasant and prompt. Pleasant dining room.

The food seemed fresh and the flavors were good. I’m traveling and eating out, but I would order the same thing again.
