This is a really amazing place to get Mexican food in Lancaster. We love getting the chicken fajitas and margaritas every time we stop by. The table chips and salsa are great and the service is amazing. Also you really need to order the tableside guacamole, it is just so unbelievably good. Service time varies based on how busy it is but normally it is pretty quick. The staff here are so friendly and they make sure you have a great experience.

We stopped in at Plaza Azteca Mexican Restaurant to meet friends for dinner, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food was delicious. I ordered the grilled mahi-mahi fish tacos, while my wife tried the shredded chicken tacos. Both were flavorful and moist, and the tortillas and dips were very good. My wife especially enjoyed the freshly made tableside guacamole.
Our server was attentive, polite, and very patient with us as it took a little while to decide on our order. I found their prices to be about average. The atmosphere was calming and relaxing.
Overall, my impression of Plaza Azteca was very positive—the food, drinks, and atmosphere make it a fine place to enjoy a meal.

Nice place. The portions are very generous, especially with their protein. Overall, food is pretty tasty, the service is good, and the atmosphere is ok. We ordered a variety of dishes and everything was about the same. Lots of screens throughout the place to watch your game or favorite show.

We love stopping by Plaza Azteca for a great meal, good service, and atmosphere! Esmeralda is a great bartender even when they are busy! One thing I noticed on a busy evening was 2 managers chatting…having a casual conversation. Their employees were running crazy. As someone who has worked food service, there is always a little disappointment when multiple managers don’t jump in or at least check on their employees! Outside of that, the restaurant is highly recommended!

Excellent food! Excellent portion sizes! Place is very big, I would guess they can accommodate 100 guest at a time, which also leads me to assume that it is a cooking line in the kitchen, so the food isnt as consistent as a smaller restraint. Again, our food was absolutely amazing, so I definitely dont want it to come.off that the good isn’t good, because it most certainly is very good!

Best Mexican in Lancaster county…and I would know growing up close to the Mexican border. The ambiance and service are great. My preference is sitting at the bar where the tenders are super friendly and responsive. A must visit as often as you can.

Food was really good. The white dip for chips was tasty but it that and the salsa were both too spicy. Wish they had mild queso or any other dip for chips. The fajitas were tender and seasoned well. The Al pastor burrito was delicious. Sorry didn’t get fajitas pic but trust me they are some of the better fajitas I’ve had. Service was friendly and it was busy. Good choice

After a mud run we wanted to go celebrate. With knowing that Plaza Azteca can accommodate large parties, don’t really have to wait very long and have great food we choose here.
Like every other time we have been there the food was great no one had a single complaint. Our waitress did a fantastic job with taking our order and also checking in on us. She even even made sure I got the check instead of my mother lol (thanks for the bravery).
Portion sizes mixed with it being tasty there are rarely times that dessert happens but when it does they do also have a nice selection.
Will definitely be back over and over. Would recommend this place to everyone small or large party size.

I LOVED this restaurant!! Went here on Valentine’s Day, and it was such a vibe! Not the usual lowkey romantic vine. It was upbeat and cheerful.
