The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because, as a traditional Mexican restaurant, I was expecting authentic Mexican music, not reggaeton. Also, on my way out, I noticed three girls (either servers or staff) gossiping and using bad language, which really killed the nice vibe.
The waiter, Joaquin, was extremely attentive and stopped by frequently to bus our table and refill our beverages.
The meal was excellent, and the value was in line with the portions.
The men’s bathroom was very clean and functional.
Overall, we had an exceptional experience.
We came from Boston to the PA Farm show and we asked a local friend where we could eat and she told us about this restaurant . They have nice portions and we loved every bite . We will definitely go back if we come to the farm show next year.
Upon arriving, there is an upper and lower lot. The upper lot may be a little treacherous for patrons who cannot walk on steep inclines/declines, and it wasn’t super well-lit.
Walking into the restaurant, we were greeted by eager staff and were seated within a few minutes despite the dinner rush on a Friday night.
The atmosphere was super fun and lively. Flowers and vines dotted the ceiling intermixed with soft lighting. Instead of the typical mariachi music you may typically anticipate at a chain restaurant, lively, upbeat music from Latino artists played throughout the restaurant.
Staff were super pleasant, attentive, and kind.
The restaurant was very clean.
Everything came out quickly.
The food seemed to lack brightness and big flavor, but it was good and there was plenty of it.
And last but not least, the spicy margarita was absolutely delicious. It was decorated with dehydrated oranges, limes, a stunning orchid. Chopped jalapenos were intermingled with the ice cubes that enhanced the tasty drink.
In all, a great experience for a family night, date night, friends get-together.
