This place is great! What a person wants when they want a good Mexican meal. We sit at the bar and the bartender is great. Food is always hot and we’ll spiced. Don’t miss the churros for dessert! Margaritas are great even though pre-made. Great value!

This is unlike any other Mexican restaurant in Bozeman. The food was really good! My only complaint would be that there is no spice! The salsa is definitely catered towards those who can’t handle any heat. I want some spice in my Mexican food! Also, the chips could use some salt. Still, I’ll be back and would recommend this to a friend. Get the guacamole! It was made to order and a huge portion!

What a great find Plaza Azteca was this evening! Everyone was so friendly and gracious, and the food was amazing – probably the best Mexican food we’ve ever had (and that’s saying a lot)! Our waiter brought chips and salsa immediately, both of which were excellent with just the right amount of cilantro in the salsa. My husband ordered the #5 combo and I ordered the enchiladas chipotle. Our entrees arrived quickly, everything was steaming hot, and portions were so generous! We each had items that gave us a chance to try the ground beef, shredded beef, and chicken. All were DELICIOUS!! Each meat had a bit of a kick and each was so tender and full of flavor. If we had discovered Plaza Azteca our first evening in Bozeman we would have returned for a second visit for sure. This restaurant is a gem!! Wonderful service and delicious food – that’s a combination that’s hard to beat!!

Finally, a great Mexican restaurant in Bozeman! Had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Had a business lunch here, staff were professional and kind. Service was incredibly quick and server was lovely. Table side guacamole was a hit and the warm chips and salsa refilled without us even asking. The Azteca salad is what I ordered with others in my group getting the tacos and fajitas. Everything was really good and I was impressed with the quality of my salad. Looking forward to trying the margaritas next time!

We had a great dinner experience here. They have some of the freshest salsa and tortilla chips in town. The apps and drinks were all generously portioned. The staff were excellent! Friendly and attentive. They have so many delicious entrees on the menu that we can’t wait to be back to try more!

This is the Mexican Ale Works of Bozeman. The service is amazing and the food is even better (if you cam get a table). Oh, and the margaritas come in a gigantic fish bowl! This was my first time at Plaza Azteca, and it was easily the best Mexican food I can remember having. I’m really not too familiar with any other Mexican places in Bozeman, but I really don’t want to go anywhere else.
The food was perfect, the service was awesome, and the atmosphere is unique and endearing. Our server was Geovany and he is as professional as it gets, as well as a super nice guy–I have no doubt the entire staff is similar.
If you’re in Bozeman and feel like having Mexican cuisine, do yourself a favor and check out Plaza Azteca. I would give them 15 stars if I could.
