The Bar at PLAZA 38 aka BAR38 is the centerpiece of Plaza38 at Lowell Food Hall IT IS NOW OPEN Acai Alley and Pizzeria 38.. We are also available for special events. We have seating for up to 150, a stage and sound equipment for live music or DJ. We have the Back Room for a more intimate affair with 80” smart TV for your presentation needs. It also features sound system needs. Hours listed are for the food hall with the Acai Alley opening at 8:00 and Pizzeria 38 closing at 10:00 pm Monday thru Thursday. We have plenty of FREE parking on the surface and lower parking garage. Over 170 spaces!

Went here this past Sat night, had a Latin band there I have never seen, what a surprise!! These guys were excellent ,wow! Never heard such awesome Santana songs, Love the horn section!! The bar was friendly , service was great, staff was helpful. Had a blast , I will be back!

It is a very suitable plaza for the needs of the people and has a new restaurant called Sabor a Taste of México with authentic Mexican food and seafood and the sushi is delicious fresh, the people are very friendly and the atmosphere was fantastic 100% for this place

I finally made it out to plaza 38 for their Wednesday night Blues Jam. Little to my knowledge, it was the last jam at this location and I am so Grateful to have made it. The amazingly talented musicians I was so fortunate to play with here are remarkable. I love meeting creative people because there is always something we can learn from them and they can be very inspirational!

This place has potential, but currently there are only two restaurants open in the food hall – a pizza place (pretty bland) and an acai/smoothie counter. Everything else is vacant, even the bar. Won’t be back until more options are available.

Nice, friendl!y attentive staff. We were not greeted at the front door, but once inside felt well taken care of.
Live music venue.
Everyone wears masks, even at the tables which made me feel safe. Had postings around building stating social distancing policy such as: no dancing and must wear mask at all times.
2 food options inside: Fusion Tacos and Aladdin (Mediterranean ) pretty good food. Had the Korean BBQ taco and Jerk chicken both were pretty tasty. I think the BBQ was my favorite. Tried the kabob…it was not my taste but Chef was nice enough to come out and apologize and replaced with another taco. The Gyros were pretty tasty tho.
I do plan on returning
