So we came in during the day so we did not experience the nightlife. But the food was terrible. The chips were burnt, the cheese dip is straight out of a can and I paid $7 for boxes Kraft mac & cheese. Like I know it’s a bar and grill, but I expected a little bit more.

We stopped here because it was 2 minutes from our cruise port. This spot had live music and a good way to kill some time and get food if you’re waiting to board a cruise. It was odd not having a waiter and going to the counter to order the food but the food was pretty good. The place was well kept and looked nice. I would like to check it out at night. Definitely want to see how it gets at night.

Came here with my parents it was like a go up to the counter and order thing. Thought the place was cute only has skee ball and basket ball so that was a bit disappointing. The nachos were okay but stale chips. Really quiet when we went cool decor especially in bathroom!

My wife and I just happened upon this restaurant while walking on the strand, and we were pleasantly surprised by how absolutely delicious the burgers were! They were truly some of the best burgers we’ve had, and they were seasoned extremely well (look at the picture). If you’re in Galveston, definitely make this one of your stops!

Glad we stopped in for a quick and easy dinner on our last night! Portions were huge, plenty of adequate seating inside and outside, music was a reasonable level and it seemed pretty clean. Onion rings were so good and food came out fast! We’ll be back!

So for the last 3 years during Mardi gras me and my family make a point to stop here to order food and what not. Never had any real issues till this year.. I have an allergy to wheat never had the issue before of them just not putting the bun on my burger as I always tell them when ordering I want NO bun till this year… My burger came out with the bun on it and me and my family explained I couldn’t eat it with the bun and asked them to redo it.. not even a minute later they came out with the SAME. Burger trying to give it to me , they legit took to the kitchen took the bun off and tried to serve it to me .. so we had to explain I could Not eat it… 15mins later the cook comes out and rudely asks what are we waiting for? Had the lady running the counter bring it to me instead of the cook.. If you have an allergy please please pay attention when being served

Stopped into Playground Patio Bar on a Monday afternoon in April. It was fine. They advertise video games, but it was a single video game, a single skee ball machine and a basketball game. They were all $1 a play, which adds up quick. The fries were pretty good, but the hot dogs were really salty. Burgers were pretty good, but not amazing. In addition, the whole place felt … sticky. Like, my shoes stuck to the floor and the whole place really smells of Sunday morning at the bar. I wouldn’t be afraid to go there again, but I wouldn’t seek it out either.

Great place to walk in off the Strand and get a bite to eat. I included a pic of the manager Donald because he was over the top kind and helpful talking to us about the Merch in their sister restaurant Shark Shack. Burgers and Hotdogs were on point, very tasty and satisfying. We had drinks that were awesome and refreshing! You can play Skeet Ball and games as well as listening to karaoke on certain days. A must stop!
