Visited November 21st..see my receipt.

I have never been here before and decided to stop in and get a pizza for later. It is off Pleasant Valley Road in Penn Valley.

The place is pretty big with another section for the bar area. They also have outdoor seating.

There is plenty of tvs to watch sports in the bar area. Popular eith the locals.

Although the pizza took awhile to bake ( and they were not busy) it was tasty. I got the pepperoni pizza to go as I had to get on the road. I Like that they use the miniature pepperoni on the pizza! Nice crust!

Good place to unwind with friendly patrons!

Ps. They also have pizza by the slice

I worked at a pizza parlor for couple of years in my youth. Also delivered pizzas before it became a thing. So I speak from real experience. I learned to make pies from Mario and Frank, real Italian guys. So take this review as it is intended. I love Players but recently the consistency of the pies has left me disappointed and my wife on the toilet. The last pie was so overloaded with meat and stuff that it looked more like a meat salad. The amount of meat toppings was over the top. The crust was so soggy from the grease it was more like a sponge. My point is one time I get the perfect pie, next time the crust is like cardboard , the next time it’s almost inedible. Come on guys, you can do better it’s not that hard. Places go down hill fast when you lose consistency in your product. We will probably not be buying anymore pies from Players and that’s a shame as you really are the only game in town.

Ordered. Said they didn’t get it. Ordered again. They had our order in twice. Got a beer to wait. I said ill be at a table please tell me when its done. On the TVs were talking heads, hockey highlights, and women’s basketball. There are 50 NCAA games and at least 10 NBA games on. After 30 minutes went to ask about food. Oh yeah right here. Soggy fries, cold burger, cold pizza. Manger/owner/bartender, on her phone and hugging guys. 50 bucks! I dont know what happened to this place. This is why I eat at home. All fairness foods not bad when its warm.

Food was good – had a sandwich, although the pizza looked good too. Not a lot of tables in the bar – but several TVs with games on. Good place to hang out and watch a game.

This is my step-dad’s favorite pizza place around because they will make things crust and have broccoli. Honestly it’s pretty good, it can be hit or miss though. The employees are always working really hard.

Had burgers. They were good burgers. A little pricey but good. The fries were flavorful and nice and crispy. You order at the counter and they bring your food out when it is ready.

Not a fan of multiple TV screens but understand that it’s mostly a “sports bar”. I enjoy the band that’s there weekly, (Wednesday) and occasionally a pizza so will continue to support them. Dance floor would be an improvement if they only had space.
