Lovely warm welcome from front of house and the chef too! We had a couple of small bites as we had been travelling, really tasty! So happy we stumbled upon this place and can’t wait to go back and try the axe throwing! Thanks team, a friendly atmosphere really makes all the difference!

I had an absolute blast at Playback! The staff was super friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. At the axe throwing Bradley gave a quick but clear safety demo and then really hyped us up while we learned the throws. The atmosphere was fun, laid-back, and perfect for us. Once we got the hang of it, we couldn’t stop competing and laughing. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for something different to do with friends. Can’t wait to come back!

Myself, my two sons and future son in law went to enjoy Axe throwing and food afterwards.
The Axe throwing was made fun and simple by the manager. He showed us games, and got the atmosphere up to a real level of enjoyment. It’s was a blast. Turns out my son’s a real ace at it too.
Afterwards we enjoyed the food and drink from the great menu choices.
I have zero negatives to say about this place. Already planning many trips back in the future.

Great burgers, Patty Melt tribute is the bomb! A specifically came here for a burger and they did not disappoint. Great selection of beer and cocktails, some vegan items on the menu various burger and chicken sandwiches and wings some good looking sides. You pay for the gaming experiences of ax, throwing shuffleboard, beer, pong, pool, foosball, table, tennis, etc. Food prices are reasonable. The game prices seem a little steep. But still, this would make a great date night. A note there’s no kids allowed after 7:30 PM. You order with a QR code at the table, which is the only reason I’m marking this down a star. I specifically ordered no sauce on the burger and it came with sauce anyway. But that was probably just as well because it was delicious. I still would rather talk to a human. Service was a tad bit slow, considering there was very few people at a lunchtime hour. But overall, I would come again.

Wonderful bar, atmosphere was extremely positive and fun. The staff were very relaxed, helpful and met everyone with a smile and a chat. So many games to be explored , including table top games. There are 3 floors to choose from.
Food was delicious, we ordered from the or code at the table and the service was very speedy.
Axe throwing is a must! Katie was our instructor, lovely relaxed and supportive style, really fun, thank you!
The roof top terrace was such an added bonus too.

Went axe throwing with a large group of 8-10 friends to try something different. Did not know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Aaron who works there was absolutely fantastic. He was so funny and friendly and we all felt 100% safe too. If anyone isn’t sure whether or not to try axe throwing, I’d say just go for it, definitely recommend it!

What an incredible bar and restaurant! We were staying close by, and a 0.3 mile walk took us to Playback. The staff were knowledgeable and willing to give opinions regarding the menu. Service was quick and convenient with mobile ordering from the table.. The menu had a great mix of options, with wings, chicken sandwiches, and burgers. The drink menu was great also. The burger had two large beef patties, and the chicken sandwiches had a solid, well-cooked chicken breast. The prices were very fair. They had some great game options as well. We all left happy and wished we had one of these in our home town!
