Went for a special occasion and had a very nice time. Our server was friendly and helpful with recommendations. Seafood is a treat for us, and we really enjoyed the Latin twist on it. I also appreciated our entrees coming with some lettuce, cucumbers, and oranges to offset the standard items.

MY FAVORITE PLACE. Just look at all of these juicy meats, tender and delicious. The Cooks in the kitchen know what they’re doing I’ve never had a bad meal here I love the fish, shrimp and today I had the carne asada which is very very tasty not dry and super tender! The employees and staff are super nice there’s a great atmosphere here where you can enjoy your food! Authentic authentic authentic from the music to the people cooking!

Food was good! we all enjoyed our food, we went for breakfast and we liked it, the only problem is the service… it was not busy at all, and we still got a bad service, and we also got charged a gratuity charge when we were 3, and in the menu said that it was applied to 4 people or more, I would have gladly paid it if service was good but it wasn’t. I would go again just to try dinner but hopefully we get better service…..

We weren’t sure what to think before going here. We knew it was a seafood place, and we like seafood, but we’ve never been to a Mexican seafood restaurant.
Our waitress, who was very nice, let us know there are some locations in Chicago.
Please note a couple of things.
The portions are very large, even for non shareable meals.
There are quite a few selections that are intended to be shared.
If you order pop, it comes in a can.
Plus they don’t have their liquor license as of January.
Good food though!

Taco Vato
This place is great not because of the food, but because of the atmosphere. This is a real Latino Hang out. You get Karaoke on Friday nights and it is a lot of fun. If you don’t speak Spanish this one could be kind of tricky. I really like the agua chile but the service is always slow. They need some more help. 4 of 5 sombreros

We stumble upon this place randomly are so happy we found this gem!! The food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all amazing!! The portion sizes are HUGE. I had the seafood stuffed pineapple it was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten! There was also live music which we really enjoyed. We can’t wait to return and will be recommending it to all of our friends!

Excellent Mexican seafood resturant! Great place for big groups for drinks and food. They have an extensive drink list including margaritas, beer, mimosa, cocktails, milk shakes, pitchers, and towers. The table next to us had huge platters of food that looked amazing. The portions looked so huge, we ordered the smallest plates on the menu as it was an early lunch for me. Our server was very friendly and helped me pick something that wouldn’t be too spicy for me. We recieved complementary ceviche for the table with two salsas to mix into it, either spicy red or mild green salsa. I loved the ceviche! We ordered the mangonada margarita, shrimp fajitas, and camarones al aho (shrimp with garlic sauce). Our food was ready super quick! Both plates came with a generous portion of shrimp, garlic bread, rice, fries, and a fresh salad. The food was excellent! I can’t wait to come back with a bigger group so I can try one of the big seafood platters of ceviche.

Wait staff was amazing. Really nice atmosphere. Food was amazing. Take their word when they say a plate will feed more than one person, it will definitely feed more than one person. I am extremely happy I found this hidden gem.
