it was my first time trying Playa Bowls & i ordered a Dolce smoothie. the ladies in the morning as i entered were very sweet & generous with a warm welcoming, not only did they let me taste different bases, they also recommended bowls i would love! definitely will be coming back, loved the Dolce smoothie!!

I previously lived in SoCal, I don’t mind paying a premium for fresh food but I always left this place feeling dissatisfied. Always too sugary sweet and nothing ever truly tasted fresh/healthy. Must be something about Ziotism that robs anything of its life and flavor. Im not affiliated, I found Fruvver (mom and pop business) 5 mins away where there’s also hot lattes and fresh elote on the menu. There’s never a long wait and they always treat me with so much kindness. Will never come back to playa if I don’t have to. Small local businesses> nepo zios

I can’t support a location that chooses not to support American veterans. I love playa bowls, but this location informed me in person that they chose to opt out of the company wide veterans day promotion to instead offer vets a cup of coffee. What a terrible look for playa bowls to put effort into not supporting American veterans for just one day of the year.

Feel-good, healthy food for any time of the day! Fresh, bright flavors. Every bowl I’ve ordered has been visually appealing, filled to the brim with toppings. The bowls could easily be split into two meals. I also like going here for smoothies after a hard work out. Highly recommend!

I would always go to the playa bowls in Bethesda but was in the area and ordered from here. Not sure what happened but wow it was rancid, the fruits were sour and tasted just plain bad!! I had to throw both away, what a waste of money. Would not suggest this location, I’ve never had an issue in the Bethesda location

Was craving an açaí bowl and was happy to find this place. I got the pura vida bowl which was really delicious. A little disappointed though that for $12 some of the blueberries were shriveled up.

This Kensington location is the absolute worse. They do not know how to make a bowl at all. It’s disappointing and disgusting. The employee are so rude and disrespectful. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this location. IT SUCKS

I’m so thrilled I found this place! I come to Kensington every week and this is my new part of the routine because it’s sooo delicious. Not many raw places these days have such a large selection.
