Used to come here a lot. Usually it’s impeccable but not tonight. I guess i could blame it on it being 15 mins till closing.
I was on the phone but I’m certain this was not made fresh. I believe i saw the young girl take this already made bowl at the freezer. They added banana, granola and barely any peanut butter. The little peanut butter is not a big deal because i have tubs of PB at home. I live about 10 mins away. And the whole thing is melted. That is what leads me to believe this is a bowl that was sitting around for a while. The bowl is 15$ that is what’s making me leave this Karen review.

My daughter and I obsessed with the açaí bowls! They have been so fresh and delicious every time we go. The staff is also very welcoming and all the selections look amazing!

I was in the store with a service dog in training and one of the other customers clearly did not like his presence. When approached by this customer, your staff knew the rules (the dog is allowed) and handled the customer very professionally. They are to be commended! Thank you. I have been a puppy raiser for over 5 years and not all of these situations are handled as well. Your staff is clearly educated and good at managing people.

Ordered the dolce smoothie all you taste is peanut butter no chocolate. I asked the girl to remake it & add more chocolate protein she uses the smoothie I already drinked from & added the chocolate protein & it still taste like peanut butter. I won’t be patronizing this business customer service 0/10!!!!

This location is a bit of a disappointment compared to other Playa Bowls I’ve been to as far as takeout orders. I ordered online and it had a 36 minute wait time. I was already in the area so I waited about 30 minutes in the parking lot before going in. At 37 minutes I was alerted my order was ready. There was a long line ahead of me but I was able to get someone’s attention and saw the bowls had been sitting on a counter. In my other experiences, they usually keep takeout orders cold in a fridge. Since it was sitting out, it was already melting, which was a bummer. It also seems like it was ready and sitting there before I was alerted to pick it up. Finally, the bowl I ordered typically has a good amount of Nutella on top. My bowl had it buried under the toppings and it was maybe a quarter of the amount I usually receive. They were really busy here, so I do want to make note of that. Everyone seemed to be working really hard, and the fruit on top was great. I think if they had a takeout fridge the experience would have been much better.

We have visited almost every location in DE and the one in concord has yet to win me over ! The flavors are beyond my expectations the fruit is fresh and the customer service was so welcoming and sweet. From my service to my bowl was top tier! I will be taking the drive to come to this location any time !!!

Everything here is good. The Beach Break juice tastes like candy, I don’t know how they do it, it’s soo yummy! All the fruit was fresh and the space is very cute.
