I love the bowls they offer here. You can order directly from the menu or create your own by mixing and matching flavors. I’ve only ordered from here twice, but both times the fruit was very fresh. I also appreciate that there doesn’t seem to be any added sugar in the bowls—it certainly doesn’t taste like it. Overall, you get a great balance of the base (I usually choose açaí and coconut) along with a generous amount of fruit and toppings. It is a bit pricey, but the portions are large and worth it.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and pleasant place to stop in. The smoothies and bowls taste great, but we did notice they skimp on the fruit topping for their bowls compared to other Playa locations. Still a good spot overall.

I’ve been a long time customer of this establishment. It’s nothing like spending your money and getting poor service. I did a little experiment due to my bowls being shorted fruit when I walked in as opposed to ordering the bowl online. 3-4 times I walked in, ordered a bowl and got a piss poor bowl. I’m not one to be confrontational so I left. Recently I orders a bowl on line under a different name and got a bowl that was unbelievable. A lot of fruit and the overall bowl was amazing. Today I order a bowl and it was piss poor. The cashier was nice. When she asked me my name I gave it to her. People were receiving there bowls according to when they placed their orders but not me. 3 people received their order before me and when my order was ready the girl said “pura vida” which is not my name. Everyone else name was used why not mine? I was asked my name in the beginning of my experience, if you’re not going to use my name then don’t ask for it. I seen other peoples bowls who ate inside the store and their bowls were full like my online bowl was. I walk outside look in my bag and saw this piss poor bowl I received. I’ll attach two photos one will be the one from today and one will be from when I ordered on line. I’m truly disappointed in this service. If you’re not going to treat people EQUALLY and with the same respect as everyone else then you shouldn’t work in customer service. I hope this issue is fixed because this service is unacceptable!

I love Playa. Their food is generally great but twice now I’ve had serious issues. Last time there were several pieces of dark green ceramic (or something) broken in my food. I was at a different location. It was really alarming. They were sharp and there were many. I do have photos. Hopefully I can add later. This time, the closing time was listed as 5pm. I got there just after 4 to find my food sitting on the sidewalk in front of the door. They had added a hand written sign saying they closed at 4 instead. My phone number is on the receipt. They could’ve at least reached out. The food is not cheap. It should never just be left outside.

I come to this playa bowls atleast once a week and the customer service is terrible. The girls in here never acknowledge me when I walk in never say hi or have a nice day and are always rude.

Took 30 minutes to make 1 bowl when I was the only customer there. Honey was bad. Less than a quarter of the bowl had the coconut blend.

I went today March 13th at 1:30ish and got a bowl, was a little busy in the beginning but after a little was just me waiting, I waited about 20 minutes and never got called, they were talking with each other and taking all their time so I went to ask and the lady came and said it was ready but they never told me, the bowl was all melted and when I said why they never call me if they were not busy they looked each other and started laughing in my face, then I asked them for another spoon and she gave it to me and said you’re welcome loud and with sarcasm, I don’t know who need to know this but is the first time I get treated like that that’s why I’m leaving the photos of this ladies because the least I expect is they get fired for treating customers like that and for being so lazy. I only could take picture of one of them but they were two.

I ordered an açaí bowl in the store at 1:53pm and they completely forgot about my order and I didn’t get it until 2:43. I asked if they can just cancel my order and give me a refund and they told me that they don’t do refunds. Terrible customer service I won’t be going back.
