I actually got it delivered so I can’t really attest to the atmosphere because it’d been a while since I went in person but the food and service was great! I got it delivered to my work and it arrived 20 minutes after ordering which was much faster than I expected! I didn’t get the delivery guys name but he was nice. I’m never disappointed ordering from Playa!

Playa Bowls Carlisle: Pliable, Perfect, and Blessedly Banana-Free (For Me)
We’re on a mission this summer to find kid-friendly healthy eats in the Carlisle area: the kind of places where I don’t have to choose between my children eating actual nutrients or just licking the cheese dust off a bag of chips. And friends, Playa Bowls is officially in the regular lunch rotation.
Let’s talk smoothies. My kids? Total banana fans. It’s how I sneak in fruit and pretend I’m a wholesome mother who grows quinoa in the backyard. But me? I cannot, under any circumstances, with banana. Something about that weird invisible skin it leaves on your tongue like banana ghosts haunting your taste buds. No thanks. It might be made up. But it’s very real to me.
And here’s the magic of Playa Bowls: they didn’t flinch when I asked for a smoothie with NO banana and subbed mango instead. No sigh. No raised eyebrow. Just a cheerful “Absolutely!” and a smoothie that didn’t haunt me later. They’re not just Playa Bowls. They’re pliable bowls. And I love them for it.
My customized bowl was a tropical masterpiece, made exactly how I wanted, which made it exactly perfect (because when mom wins lunch, everybody wins). The ingredients were real, pronounceable, and refreshingly free of weird fillers or science experiments.
The space is fun and beachy, the staff is kind and fast, and the food came out so quick I didn’t even feed the meter. I just stared out the window at the Mac Van like a suspicious seagull, ready to squawk if I saw a ticket being written.

I’m not sure of the two guys names that we’re currently working at the Carlisle pa location on 11/28 but they were doing a fantastic job even with the amount of orders they had. They both worked well together to continue to take orders but also knock out the pile of orders they had. Great job to them.

Well the first time i went in i said this is not for me so u know happy wife happy life.But OMG.It is one time a week im at this place everything i have got here is amazing just like the service and the great atmosphere small town business. IF u have not tryed this playa bowls ,please please stop take time out of your busy day try a bowl.All did i mention u have one in carlisle,camphill,harrisburg.I have been to everyone of the location.The management,the staff and the bowls are incredidle at everyone of the locals.thanks u playa bowls of carlisle,camphill,Harrisburg. Visited on a Tuesday morning in June on our way through town. It wasn’t busy at all and the staff were incredibly friendly while greeting us and assisting with our order. We opted in for the pura vida and Nutella açaí bowls which were incredible and refreshing. The atmosphere is so fun and a great place to catch up with friends while enjoying a great treat! Highly recommend stopping in here. You seriously can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

Absolutely beautiful location!!! The music and vibe are amazing! Our server Emily was fantastic, she gave us great advice on the different bowls, and we were able to sample the different bases before making our final decision. Will definitely be returning!!!!

I’ve been here a bunch of times and usually get the same thing: the power bowl. Sometimes I get the protein bites. Service is usually quick although sometimes they are very busy. Staff is always friendly. Parking is easy. Rewards program is a nice thing – if you go often you get points for savings. I had $3 off on this order.

Considering it was their first day open, they were very friendly and service was very quick, even though they were extremely busy. The store was clean and there’s a ton of seating options. Very bright and friendly. I’m very happy Carlise has a smoothie place now! Straws and spoons are biodegradable and compostable which is a huge plus for us.

Love, love, love the Nutella Açaí Bowl! It’s so delicious! I’ve tried so many different smoothie bowls across the USA from Cali to Florida and Playa Bowls has some of the best açaí bowls! Highly recommend! Also, the interior is absolutely adorable! Love all of the beach vibes!
