We’ve tried 2 bowls, 2 smoothies and the protein hot oats.
The staff is always friendly & its very clean inside as its new.
The bowls:
I had a green called Lola1 and my better half had the Mucho Mango. They were good but the mango 1 was way too sweet for me. If you like sweetness, that’s the 1!
The protein smoothies:
Rise & Shine tasted terrible to me. Had an after taste & was pretty seedy.
Tidal wave was pretty good.
But for the price, the size is very small and disappointing.
The oatmeal bowl with chocolate protein, banana & PB was very plain tasting…I’ve made better at home.
I wanted to love it but they’re just ok. Stick with the bowls for more bang for your buck.

This place deserves six stars, seriously. The bowls and cold-pressed juices are absolutely incredible. I’ve been eating açaí bowls my whole life, and nothing has ever exceeded my expectations the way you guys do. The staff is attentive, kind, and professional every single time. I absolutely love this place ❤️

Tried Playa bowl in Merrick on Saturday loved it, now craving a tidal wave smoothie after spin class drove here to the Levittown location arrived at 9:10pm, they’re closed and storefront as well as online says they open until 10pm! This is not accurate. I am beyond disappointed, tropical smoothie cafe would never and now it’s too late to drive there! Upset.

Unprofessional and terrible customer service. After hearing good things about Playa Bowls, I was looking forward to attending this location’s grand opening. After inquiring about a promotion that this store had advertised, I was BLOCKED by them (and never received an answer to my inquiry)?! Needless to say, after this interaction, I will not be giving my business to Playa Bowls and I will make sure to let others know not to support a business that treats customers in such an unprofessional manner.

I drove 25 minutes to my closest playa bowl, only to find out they were “closed” at 8:15 p.m. I had called ahead, but the lady deliberately kept hanging up on me. Even when my boyfriend walked inside they denied him service saying they’re closed. According to the website they close at 10PM on M-S. Closing an hour and 45 minutes before in unnecessary.
