This was my first visit. The atmosphere was lovely. The weather was great. The establishment was very busy. However, the cashier was very pleasant and was able to manage the busyness with style. We traveled 2 1/2 hours for a beach day and ended it with a Playa Bowl in Asbury which is a summer tradition. But we almost missed out! Location was closed by 6:00 pm on 9/21/24! We were in disbelief! We got there at 6:10pm. We begged and pleaded and “Jimmy” made it happen!!! World class service with a smile!!! What an amazing person you are “Jimmy”! Great concept! Huge menu of bright and flavorful smoothies and smoothie bowls jam packed with fresh, whole fruits, veggies and grains. Everything is delicious and made to order. I absolutely love finding innovative and fun ways to eat fruits and veggies! I would love to see Playa Bowls branch out into the Pittsburgh, PA market!
