Absolutely love Playa Bowls! Everything is always fresh and delicious, but I’m especially obsessed with the new Protein Wave smoothies. I tried the Rise & Shine and it was amazing—perfectly blended, filling, and such a great way to start the day. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. This is definitely my new go-to!

I was at the Red Bank location recently I have no idea who the gentleman working alone name is but he has tattoos hope that helps! I want to say he is a trull doll although he was alone and had other orders he needed to do he was so professional at the register with the biggest smile and guided me on what to get as it was my first time ordering Playa Ever, it was so delicious and I will be back! I don’t know if he’s a manager or what but if he isn’t give him his own shop asap!!!

I was beyond belitled when I arrived to pick up my order today. After being told ” I messed up and ordered it to a different location” I walked back to my car and retrieved my phone with receipt. After the staff member hoofed and puffed he told me to wait because he guesses he has to do it??? After 15 mins he called me to the counter and told me he magically remembered giving my order to a DD Driver and that he couldn’t help me! I was late getting my children from school and I WILL NEVER BE TREATED LIKE THAT AGAIN! Oh yeah, and I have to wait 3 days for my money to be refunded.

The workers were some of the rudest people I’ve ever seen. We patiently waited 30 minited with ZERO complaints for one dolce smoothie. When we finally asked nicely about our order, the worker gave us terrible attitude saying there were only 2 workers when there was clearly four of them working. In the middle of us waiting, one of the workers went to go play with a dog while leaving multiple customers waiting for their orders. WORDT PLACE EVER DO NOT GO HERE. Btw the smoothie is supposed to have peanut butter swirled on the outside but the worker was too busy playing with the dog to notice.

Just went there to pick up bowls and after waiting in line an employee announced to the line of customers they aren’t taking orders for “at least another 20 minutes” because they have online orders to fulfill first. They should learn to manage orders and not turn away people in person. There was no apology offered for the inconvenience and he was quite rude. Won’t go to this location again.

Playa Bowl is easily my favorite acai establishment up and down the east coast. The fruit is fresh, their acai is not icy or overpowered by other flavors, the granola is absolutely delicious and they use enough to get a little in every bite and the prices are just right. I’m sad we don’t have a Playa Bowl in the DMV because it really blows all these other places out of the water with the selection and offerings. I stop by everytime I am in the area!

Update: Bowls taste good but I keep asking for mango & dragonfruit but I get acai and dragon fruit.
Do your employee know what mango is?
Do you all still have mango in the store?
Oh and I could be blind but ite also missing spirulina
