The girls working there don’t seem to have any proper training in customer service. I ordered a smoothie, and a girl hands me one 3 seconds after the payment went through. Obviously not freshly made- probably something that’s been sitting there after a wrong order.

Frequent customer. But today.. the pineapple tasted like nothing. The banana was the size of my finger. And the açaí and pita ya had absukty zero flavor. The fig nearly cracked my back molar. Quality has definitely declined. Pick better produce.

I went there on 8/17 around 615pm. The service was horrible. I ordered the Nutella bowl. They put the whole bowl full of granola, like extra, extra, extra. The strawberries were spoiled, and the coconut was missing. The Staff looked like they didn’t like their job. I’ve been to three different Playa Bowls, and this was the worst one. They didn’t even provide me a bag for my playa bowl. This business needs to be careful with the staff they hire. I had to throw away my play bowl; it was a mess. Very disappointed . What a waste of money.

The assistant manager, Heidi , here is great!!. I usually take and go the same order. I’ve dined in before once before but usually it’s a last minute craving … I told her that my last to go wasn’t great, she made the bowl herself exactly how I wanted and made suggestions to make my bowl modifications stand out. This kind of customer service is missed… but very much appreciated.
