Staff is great and helpful, helped me even change info in my account. Food was prepared perfect. I am just not maybe a fan of the matcha/coconut bowl flavor. I’ve had other varieties before and my famiy loves Playa Bowls.

I came in to order a pint (tub) of açaí and redeem my free bowl reward. When I said I wanted a tub, the staff acted like I was speaking a different language. I was met with confused looks, like I had five heads, for simply asking for a tub of açaí.
When I then tried to redeem my free bowl, five employees crowded around me to tell me I couldn’t use the reward because I was purchasing a tub — even though those were clearly two separate items. I wasn’t trying to substitute one for the other. I just wanted to buy a tub and redeem my free bowl at the same time.
They kept insisting I had to “order a bowl,” while I was literally standing there waiting for the associate to ask me what type of bowl I wanted. Instead of clarifying anything, they made me feel like I was being difficult or didn’t understand what I was ordering.
To make matters worse, when I finally received my bowl, I had asked for the granola on the side, and they put it on top anyway. At that point, instead of asking them to fix it and going through another uncomfortable interaction, I just left.
Overall, it was a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. Based on how I was treated and the lack of attention to my order, I won’t be returning.

My son and I visited this location on a Saturday. It was obviously super busy. There were only 2 workers. The line was building up and people were waiting. These workers were hustling and clearly doing their best, but obviously overwhelmed. When one of the workers apologize for the wait, I told her it was absolutely OK and that I could see that they were busy. I asked her if someone was out sick or is this the norm? And she said that no one was out sick and it would normally be just the two workers. This is absolutely not OK. These two young ladies are likely underpaid and overworked. The owner of this location needs to get their act together and invest in additional workers, especially on the weekends. I honestly feel terrible for these young ladies and the owner should be ashamed.

This has become my new favorite place for many reasons! I been watching what I eat and sweets are my weakness! I’m so glad my husband discovered this place! Ever since I started coming here, I have not been back to any ice cream places! This place is much healthier and the service is excellent! Staff is always friendly! The prices are great for what they serve too! Will be going here more often! Highly recommend!

Went here for the first time with my husband! The place was clean, very quick service and the bowls were so fresh and delicious! I got the Pure Vida Acai bowl…see pic. My husband got the Nutella Acai bowl. He forgot to take a pic, but he loved it! The staff was very friendly! We will be back!

I really enjoy Playa Bowls, but every visit to this location has been a disappointing experience. There are always 4–5 employees working, yet it feels like none of them want to be there. They rarely smile, avoid interacting with customers, and give off the impression that they’d rather be doing anything else.At this point, it seems like a waste for the company to have staff just standing around, doing the bare minimum while being rude and unhelpful. On top of that, the bowls are consistently inconsistent — most times they’re poorly made, even when I order the same thing.
Between the lack of customer service and the unpredictable quality, it’s hard to justify coming back.

Food can never really be bad… but i come here at night and employees are always closing before actually closing. saying juicer is closed and always making you uncomfortable, like you’re a bother to them. they see im waiting for food at the end of the counter and no one says anything when my food is at the front counter?? employees made me feel stupid and unwanted.

Acai bowls here are so good and fresh. They gave you a big bowl which made you pretty filled up. Staff are nice, quick and professional. The seating area is cute and the bathroom is clean. I have been coming back every month.

I recently placed an order online at Playa Bowls and had a mixed experience. While the food was freshly prepared and tasted great, my smoothie was the wrong size, leading to a longer wait. One staff member incorrectly claimed I hadn’t ordered online but did manage a situation well when a customer tried to cut in front of me. Another employee who prepared my order was polite and wished me a good day.
However, as someone in customer service, I know that a positive attitude and a smile goes a long way. Unfortunately, the overall staff attitude and the atmosphere of the location were not welcoming. First impressions matter, and this location fell short.

Pre-ordered here for work the next morning. Order came very fast and still cold which was a plus. I will add that just to have 1 bowl delivered it cost my nearly $18, which is ridiculous seeing as I just got a regular acai bowl… but either way it was very delicious and filling. I couldn’t even finish it. I ordered a Nutella Acai Bowl.. the bowl itself was $15 then probably 2 or 3 dollars for delivery with grubhub… if it wasn’t so expensive I’d order from here more but going to the farmers market and getting all this stuff seems a bit cheaper.. but that’s only if one has the time.. either way food was good
