As soon as you walk in , you’re kind of mesmerized by all the colors and materials they have around. Makes you feel like you’re definitely by a beach. The menu was nice and big; the ingredients were explained well, and they had visual of the cup sizes right by the cashier. This was my first time going into Play Bowl, so I have no idea what I was getting into when I ordered the Electric Mermaid… it just sounded cool, lol. Least to say I was not disappointed. My order tasted amazing, and I just had so much fun with every spoon changing up my bites with all the different fruits it came with. Definitely would recommend this place if you want something light and cold. The staff was super nice, and the restaurant was extremely neat and clean.

Second time here! First time went so well that I came back again a week later for the second time. However this time around I Left so upset. I ordered the wrong bowl noticed after I asked to exchange it and she didn’t want to. She ultimately did after getting with manager but I was saying thank you and she just completely ignored and didn’t acknowledge me. She acted as if re making this bowl to make the customer happy ruined her whole day. She presented as if me wanting a different bowl was the end of her life and rolled her eyes and she stopped speaking to me

I love this place! They have a great variety of bowls with a variety of bases (açaí, pitaya, chia, oatmeal) and toppings. I love that if you don’t like a topping on a bowl or have an allergy, you can swap it for something else for free, and that doesn’t even require a worker doing some kind of override (aka, it even works when ordering in the app!). I usually come to the Glastonbury location rather than West Hartford because the parking is so much easier than Blueback Square.
