We live up the street and after procrastinating for awhile we had dinner here. It is a wee expensive but worth every penny. It’s so ridiculously good (I had Aroz Con Camerones) that I’m bummed we didn’t try it earlier. The waitress was sweet as pie and the food is clearly made by someone who cares about it. So good.

Incredible Mexican food, not too heavy, nice portions, authentic cusine. Their Horchata is perfectly balanced.
The enchilada lunch special for $12 was a day maker. Loved how I could get one shredded beef and one chicken. Great spices, tender beef, juicy chicken, and the cheese very flavorful.
Rice and beans were done well, not too much lard or other fats, it tasted homemade and on the light side.
Lunch specials are affordable for the regular customer. Highly recommend after my first visit.
Service was fantastic. Big smiles, attentive, nice, and fast.

Great example of a model Mexican restaurant. Helpful staff and very reasonable prices for the combo meals. Plenty of seating arrangements and the wait wasn’t very long for the food (~7-8 minutes)

We came here after the Pullayup Spring Fair looking for some good Mexican good. We found it at Playa Azul. The staff here were incredibly nice from beginning to end. Everything was done with a warm smile and I was so happy!
I had the two hard tacos with rice and beans. The rice and beans were done right. The tacos shell and the tortilla chips were light and crunchy. They didn’t skimp on the meat. Would come again!

Don’t judge a book by it cover. Plain outside gravel parking lot but once you are inside. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was excellent I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican food.

Just as delicious as always! Friendly wait staff, calmingly lit atmosphere, and great food. Chips, salsa, and salsa verde brought to your table before drink orders are taken. Quick service and plates come out hot. Our waitresses are always very attentive and we are left wanting for nothing.
