10/10–the best soul food I had in Broward. The Mac & cheese was creamy, the greens were savory and not sweet with turkey bits, the rice was shelly, & the fried chicken was seasoned to perfection. The cornbread was like cake, not grainy at all. The mystery drink was good.

Never ordered from here before and the first time I did I was blown away the mac & cheese taste like grandma made it. The greens were phenomenal and we all know it’s tough to get good greens and I ordered the pork chop, which was amazing as well. I can’t wait to try other things they have on the menu now that I know they can cook!! Also the prices were so fair!

My favorite was the green beans. I should’ve ordered an additional side. I ate the green beans before anything else. The corn bread paired well with the green beans. Yummy
The Mac & Cheese was good as well, nice and creamy. I’m more of a cheddar cheese girl, but I really enjoyed them.
The Turkey Wing was falling off of the bone. I loved everything. Everything was seasoned good.

The flavor of the ribs and fish was good, but dry and a bit overcooked. Some of the sides tasted canned, I wasn’t fond of the yellow or white rice taste, but the blackeyed peas were good. The inside was nice and the customer service was good.

Came here on Thursday April 4, 2024 around 5pm. The lady who was working was awesome, I didn’t catch her name but she was sweet, attentive, funny, and her hospitality was unmatched. She might have been cooking and serving at the same time. All the food was fresh, the portions were huge, and it was DELICIOUS!! I’d never had a fried rib before but they set the bar high for anywhere else! The glaze they put on it was everything. The mystery drink was sooo good as well! 10/10 would recommend!!!!

I tried this place out twice. I ordered the same thing, smothered pork chops, Mac cheese and yams. The food was horrible!!! The quality of the rice was poor, pork chops was hard, wasn’t seasoned and over battered with flour, Yams tasted like aged maple syrup. Mac & cheese was just alright but it could be better. Take it easy on the black pepper, that’s all I could taste. I said to myself the first time, maybe I went on a bad day let me give them another try. Next time was even worse.

Sad that I have to give this place 1 star. I try to support black business, But the older lady that works the front and answers the phone is RUDE. She has hung up on me 2-3 times on different occasions. She has zero customer service skills. Just nasty. I was literally about to spend money there but changed my mind due to her. I WILL NEVER PATRONAGE THIS BUSINESS again. SORRY LAMAR!
