Stopped in on a recommendation of someone local and I was NOT disappointed.
The sausage we so good, they tasted homemade…but the server said they weren’t!

Platte River Inn is always delicious no matter what you get but the breakfast scramble I had today was so good I had to write a review. It’s on of the best things I’ve ever eaten, far surpassed expectations. The balance of flavors and the way everything is cooked perfectly, plus wood smoke flavor all through (not fake smoke flavor – campfire smoke). Perfect. Coffee was good too and excellent service as always.

Stopped here after floating the Platte and we had a great experience. The French dip is one of the best in the area. The bartender was quick and attentive and the interior was nice and clean.

Large portions of tasty food – it has the cozy feel of a diner, and really great breakfast options. Slightly on the expensive end, but I suppose that’s just everywhere these days. Service was very friendly and we got our food fast!

Fantastic breakfast! Our portions were huge, I got the 3 egg, 2 meat, hash browns, and pancake. The pancake was the size of a salad plate. My husband loved his biscuits and gravy.

The service was excellent. The restaurant is clean, lovely and there is plenty of space between tables. We arrived when they opened for breakfast and within 15 minutes, the place was nearly full. We both enjoyed our food. The portions are plentiful and everything was cooked exactly how we like it. The hasbrowns were crisp and my over medium eggs were perfect with solid whites and lovely runny yolk. My husband’s scrambled eggs were very fluffy. The ham was delicious, and the smokey bacon was really nice. My husband has a good appetite, but the Honof Big Breakfast about id him in! We will be returning here soon! Update September 6, 2023 This is definitely the best breakfast around, and Kaitlyn was an excellent server! Love Love Love it!

Service from the bar tender was amazing! Food was great and came out quick. I had the western burger and an old fashioned. The bar menu is decent for mixed drinks and beers. Heading back again after fishing tomorrow.

Great place in a small town! The servers were friendly, the food was great, they had a few local beers in addition to the usual suspects, and they even have euchre game nights for the locals to come out. I had the perch and it was fried to perfection, not too much batter and it was juicy. The fries were natural cut and also fried perfectly without too much oil/grease to them. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Came in during a quiet time on a Friday morning. Our server, Bryan, was awesome. Very attentive and even made sure my mom got her way when she wanted one slice of one type of toast and another of a different kind. The food was delicious and the portions were enormous, especially the big honor breakfast. It was like $20 and nearly put me into a food coma with the 3 plate combo. Cook even threw an extra egg on a 4 egg plate. We all left satisfied, to say the least. Would come back in a heartbeat! I hope your experience is even half as good as mine!
