I ordered food from Platia Greek Goodness on a Thursday evening around 7:30 pm after arriving at my hotel. The person who took my phone order was very pleasant, and when I arrived to pick it up, my food was ready right on time. The service was smooth and efficient, which I definitely appreciated after a long day.

The only downside was the price. A classic chicken gyro with fries came to around $20 … no drink, no extras. While the food was good and flavorful, it didn’t quite feel like $20 worth.

Overall, it was a positive experience because of the friendly service and solid food. If I’m in the area again and it fits my budget, I’d consider stopping by. I’d still encourage others to check it out and decide for themselves.

We visited Platia Greek Restaurant while on vacation in South Carolina. We noticed there were a few mixed reviews, but we decided to give them a shot and see for ourselves—and we’re so glad we did.

We were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was friendly with a really welcoming feel.

We both ordered the build-your-own platter with pork. I chose the potatoes and rice, plus a classic Greek salad, hummus, and tzatziki. Everything tasted fresh, was cooked to order, and came out hot and delicious. You can tell they care about quality.

We would absolutely come back the next time we’re in the area!

We had a great experience! Food was spectacular, the drinks are unique and refreshing, and the dessert was to die for. The woman who took our order was so nice, gave great recommendations, and was so patient with us. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!

Love this hidden gem in south Mt Pleasant. About the fourth time I’ve eaten here and never disappointed. I highly recommend the hillbilly sandwich. I swear it’s impossible to finish, the portion is that huge. Great thing about this place is it won’t break your wallet. Well done Platia! This place is perfect for catering or when it’s your turn to bring food for your life group.

We had Greek salads with lamb, and they were HUGE! The lamb came in patties, some of which I put into the salad and some that I ate on pita with tsasiki sauce. All in all, a great meal at a small, unassuming place. Friendly staff.

If you’re looking for an authentic Greek salad (no lettuce) and deliciousness come to this place. Great options to add chicken souvlaki (kebab) to your salad and the pita bread and taziki sauce is divine. Loved the food, it is always excellent and delicious.
