My fiancé and I just had a fabulous experience at Plates at 208! We started our meal with the Greek salad and the milk and honey flight—an absolutely perfect way to begin. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the cheese was especially delicious. We were already excited for the entrées to come!
Our waitress was both kind and professional, making the evening even more enjoyable. When our entrées arrived, a beautifully presented lamb shank and pork chop, we were thrilled! And once we took our first bites, we were even more impressed. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying.
The ambiance was immaculate, elegant yet relaxed, and we found ourselves laughing and enjoying the vibe all night long. For dessert, we indulged in their house-made baklava, and it was pure heaven. Truly the perfect sweet ending to a memorable evening.
I genuinely can’t wait to plan another trip to St. Michaels just to dine at Plates at 208 again! We were in town for a few days and tried several other restaurants for lunch and dinner, but honestly, we were disappointed—none of them came close to the experience we had here. Plates at 208 truly set a high bar. From start to finish, everything was exceptional, and it completely elevated our trip.

This place is absolutely amazing! The outside might make you 2nd guess going in, but you would be missing out! The food and staff were both amazing!!! As someone who is on the basic end when it comes to trying new food, I’m so glad I decided against the urge of not trying something new! We ordered two different dinners, and they were absolutely worth it! For our app, we had the shara chips, Delicious!We had the filet loaded with shrimp and crab meat, cooked to perfection! Came with a wonderful mashed potato and asparagus. Also, I got the orange glazed salmon with jasmine rice!! For dessert, we tried the Turkish pudding, didn’t disappoint!!@ Must go to if they are open!!!!

Absolutely loved this place and it was the highlight of our St Michael’s weekend. Aida created phenomenal vegan dishes for us that were beautifully plated with fresh ingredients that were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Janann, our server, was delightful. She provided a warm and welcoming experience that made our visit even more special. The hospitality offered by both was greatly appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend. The quality of service and food is well worth the price.

An amazing meal from start to finish. I am a very picky eater and there is literally something for everyone. My husband and I went for his birthday dinner. We had the Sahara chips and OMG I couldn’t stop eating them. The fresh baked, house made focaccia bread was delicious. My filet was perfectly cooked with a generous portion of lump crab meat and shrimp on top. Beautiful plate presentations too. The owner and staff are so friendly and professional. They serve a palette cleanser before your entree is served. Great wine as well. Fresh house made desserts, we had the Grand Marnier Creme Brulee and the decadent cheesecake which was garnished with beautiful dried flowers. Definitely plan on taking your time when you done here, you are going to want to savor every bite. My Chef hubby was even impressed. I can’t wait to go back.

Had a lovely time in June, randomly came in when our other dinner option has no spots, which worked out much, much better! The owner and chef is Syrian and the food is a fusion of Mediterranean styles. The atmosphere was welcoming and not at all formal, very comfortable even in a “black napkin” setting. Be sure to try the Lebanese wines, the red went perfect with the lamb. The staff were friendly and chatty, with no pretention or stuffiness. We will certainly return, and maybe save room for the divine looking desserts…

What a great restaurant! The staff is incredible and the food is great. We had a wonderful milk and cheese board. Then we had a lentil soup and I got the red snapper. Wow look at this!

We stumbled upon this place for a late night/last minute drink and I’m so happy we did! The kitchen, unfortunately had already closed, but the owner was so kind and offered to make us something. We did decline but how’s that for service! We did end up getting a piece of baklava and it was perfect! The beer offering was slim but the liquor selection was impressive; we even broke in a bottle of cognac. The bartender/manager was so kind and the owner and her hung out with us until we left. We wanted to go back for dinner but it didn’t fit in the plans so we WILL be back and can’t wait for the full experience.
Update- 3/2025. Back again and as always Ida and Joanne serve the best chats, laughs and food! Y’all did not disappoint for Chocolate fest. Thank you and walk all the way down the Main Street people, dont miss out on this spot!!

Ate dinner here Christmas Eve. The food is incredible. Kudos to the chef! He nailed it! Atmosphere is elegant laid back. Fine dining without the need to dress up. Architecture of the three historical establishments turned into one restaurant is eclectic and interesting. Owner has really put a beautiful spin with her decorating choices. Food excellence? TICK. Atmosphere? TICK. Cocktails? TICK . This should be on your St Michael’s restaurant “bucket list”. Seriously, if you are looking for an elegant meal in a relaxed environment—don’t miss this gem.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Plates at 208 is a must visit restaurant when visiting St. Michaels. We had one of the best dining experiences of all the restaurants we have tried in the area. From the waitresses to the owner, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious and completely made from “scratch” with fresh, high quality ingredients.
