If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This restaurant…..so welcoming. No reservations needed. It’s like walking into your family’s house and being served food that makes you smile from ear to ear. The servers speak Greek. The food have portions that your grandma would give you…large. Definitely lots of leftovers.
The grilled calamari…beautifully made. I was with a party of 8. Everyone loved the food.
I had the char-grilled chicken. Juicy, I thought i got the whole chicken. The Greek potatoes..

Wow. This place was recommended to me by a Greek friend, and I need to go thank him now.
Although we waited 25 minutes to be seated (Saturday, around 18:00), it was worth it! The restaurant does NOT take reservations, you need to come and stand in line, just be smart about the timing.
The food came extremely fast and was absolutely delicious. We took only hot starters and desserts to share, but the food all around looked fabulous.
I will definitely go again, I want to try more dishes!!

Plateia is hands down one of our all-time favorite restaurants. We’ve tried many spots, but nothing comes close to their Char-Grilled Mediterranean Octopus and Lamb Chops with XVOO & Lemon! The octopus is tender with the perfect char and citrusy balance, and the lamb chops are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled every time.
The quality is consistently outstanding and the service has always been warm and attentive. We keep coming back and always order the same things because they’re just that good.

Great, healthy food with many gluten free options! The portions are large. For three hearty eaters, we got two entrees (lamb shanks and pork skewers) and two salads (spinach beet). We had enough leftovers for at least one more person. All of the food was delicious. I consider it a good value for quality. Nice atmosphere and the place was busy but service very efficient and courteous. We felt well cared for. We will be back.

Well I was invited for my friends mom’s birthday and this was the first time coming to this restaurant foods apartments delicious. One thing that shocked me is that they didn’t have traditional domadres. Nevertheless the food was good we had spinach pie we have the octopus which was very delicious it was cooked char-broiled the only dislike was that you have to cut it and we were a family style and yeah at least he could have been us a steak knife. Ambiance was not your traditional Greek ambiance. More contemporary or modern ambience. Okay service was so far good however the greeter had a really bad behavior and audacity to ask my 2 friends while coming in if our party of 8 was here and the rest of our party was not all here and she gave a nasty attitude. I wish they would have gave us clean plates after we’re done with the entree. Or clean utensils after the appetizers. Thus the 4 stars because of the lack of domadres and not giving us clean plates and utensils. The Greek beans as a appetizer was phenomenally delicious
