Food is always very good, fresh, and clean tasting. I always get the breakfast deluxe burrito that comes with a drink. The deluxe comes with egg, potatoes, cheese, beans, ham, and some peppers to give it a little spice. The negative about them is they’re not open early enough in the morning. Years ago, they would be open very early for those of us whose work shift starts long before 8 am.

I recently moved to Barstow and was told I had to try Platas. The recommendation was spot on. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Service was great from start to finish, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back.

I heard good things about this place. I tried it for the first time this afternoon. I first walked in the lady taking orders was rude, not welcoming and she was getting frustrated with me for asking questions on the menu, during this time her cell phone was more important than the customer. I order bean and cheeses burrito and a Asada taco. Both items very little portians. When I went to pay I was taking to long on there ATM device she grabbed my card and the device and made the transaction herself.
I do not recommend this restaurant due to poor customer service and little portions. I give this place a negative 5 stars

I saw that this place was decently rated and thought id give it a try. That was a huge mistake. I paid nearly 17 dollars for 3 asada tacos with beans and rice, the plate didn’t even come with a drink.
The rice and beans were fine but the asada meat tasted so generic and flavorless. The salsas were also pretty generic and not spicy. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

I called at before 5pm to see what time they closed. They said 6pm. A few minutes later, I called several times and they disconnected the phone. I was going to order 9 breakfast burritos, so I went to Robertizos down the street instead ♂️
