Any friendly and you would think your mom owned the place. The staff here are very open to giving you any knowledge about coffee. The cool thing about this job is they support other small community shops in Albuquerque! Ya!
The bake goods are delicious and fresh. Always taste the coffee before adding anything to it, because it’s the right way taste the real notes. Then you can destroy the coffee lol. Come in for that smile from the staff wake up to the smell of the fresh brew

Wow! What an amazing place. Cozy vibes, yummy drink, and the friendliest barista I have met in town! Amanda was so kind as soon as I walked in the door! Try the Not Nog Latte you won’t be sorry!

My friend and I stopped in today our first time we loved the atmosphere, the staff was amazing made us feel welcomed! We sat at the couch we enjoyed looking at the snowy mountains in front of us. I got the Chei latte with this pastry with marshmallows and chocolate they both were amazingly tasty and definitely satisfying. Will definitely go again and will tell my friends and family!

Really nice place. Coffee is great. No cold brew, which is what I’m after. But the iced coffee with a shot of espresso is really good. I don’t add anything to my coffee so I get the real essence of what they are serving. This is in the top 10 for Albuquerque.

I love Plata! It’s such a cozy space. I’ve always been able to find a spot to sit/work. I’ve never had a bad latte here and LOVE that they have Sunday bagels.

I walked to this coffee spot to celebrate my daughters grades this morning. The woman working this morning was amazing at customer service and helping us celebrate. She offered to make my daughters coffee extra special with marshmallows. She explained everything about the menu and we felt very welcomed.

Recently visited at 8 on a Tuesday morning and was immediately warmly greeted. It was very refreshing from what service has become.
Not only was the Barista inviting but she made a delicious Bizcochito latte.
The mugs are beautiful and the space is beautiful and very comfortable! Will be returning.

Good coffee and ambience. Coffee shop is right off the 2nd St. bike path, which is awesome!
Only downside is that they don’t have a single gluten-free option—not even nuts or a bar.

This is a great local, neighborhood coffee shop. It’s cute and cozy, and the coffee is excellent. It’s a bit hidden, back in the same parking lot as Steel Bender. I hope enough people notice and support it, because it’s a great little coffee shop.

As a traveling musician I spend a lot of time on the road and check out a lot of coffee shops. Now I might be biased, for several reasons, but this is my favorite coffee in the country. The excellent service, the thoughtful furnishings, and excellent menu options, all make Plata Coffee among the best out there!!
