Plat 1 Pub – Is a local neighborhood Pub embracing the rich history and entrepreneurship of the South Park community. It is a historical tribute to the inception of the original “South Park” development. The Pub sits in the area designated as “Plat 1”. This Plat is one of four different plats that were developed at the turn of the 1900s to be an upcoming industrial and residential utopian company town. “This tract of land [Plat 1] was the first true example of City Planning in this area . . .” and the park “at that time was one of the prettiest parks in the State” (Moak 1982: 68, 69)

Our food was excellent, my husband had a hamburger and I had the salmon bowl! Erica was our server and she was friendly and attentive!

For all intense and purposes this is a Chef/Sushi Chef driven pub. This area is lucky to have the owner and chef and staff. I got the Angry Hawaiian Roll and Award Winning Fish And Chips. Outstanding roll. People ordered multiple rolls while I was here. I was remarkably surprised after I bite into the tempura fish and chips. The fish batter was delightful and crunchy since it was tempura batter. This batter is only best when served fresh. Otherwise its better than any other batter next day. I feel like anything from this menu, quality wise and execution, would be high. This is absolutely a foodie destination. THIS PLACE IS A 9.5.

Living right down the street i was excited to see the place open. All new business has a little learning curve, so I’ve withheld until now. The food is more bistro style than pub. Good menu, excellent quality. The wine list is short but a bottle of everyday wine is only $23, better than the $7 for french fries, but I don’t love fries anyway. Service is getting better and the kitchen is quick. Niche businesses have to find their clientele and I think they will. They’re a little upscale for the area but will likely draw from surrounding areas. We’re heading south next week but looking forward to one more visit and hopefully they’ll still be open in the springtime!

He needs better management! The waitress wasn’t even old enough to serve us. I understand she’s just learning. Been there, but there should of been someone trailing her. Could use better training. She was sweet though. The bartender, maybe just 21? He needs better training also. I know they’re just starting out, but I think they need better experienced people starting out running things. Owner sat at the bar, greeted noone. This is just constructive criticism, not bashing!

Delicious wings ! They are deep fried, however, NOT greasy ! We ordered 6 just to try.. then ordered 10 more ! We did order the dry rub (lemons pepper ) these are NOT wing dings.. almost Jumbo size. Well done Plat One. Very quiet neighborhood pub on Port Hurons South Side. Looking forward to outdoor seating as some point. Pleasant family friendly atmosphere.. very modern/ clean decor.
Waitstaff was pleasant and fun.
Wife enjoyed Bloody Mary.

Matthew was a very attentive server. It’s awesome to have the availability WarWater service & food (and booze) closer to the ‘Ville.
