We stopped into the restaurant for lunch yesterday after visiting a nearby shop. I enjoyed the chickpea salad sandwich and a strawberry lemonade, and my niece had the burrito. She liked the burrito overall, but mentioned that she wished it had some sauce and/or tomatoes inside as the inside was dry. The place is pretty pricey and the portions are a little small for the price, but they appear to be using quality ingredients, have a lot of different items, including grab-and-go, and I definitely appreciate the vegan and gluten-free options and I’m willing to pay a little more for it. This was my first visit to OKC and I have been pleasantly surprised by the friendly service I have received everywhere… until I walked into this café. I can’t say that the four employees were rude exactly, but they were not friendly at all. The young lady who rang us up, barely spoke to us. No greeting, no thank you, almost no words. 😐 From the table where we sat, I could see half a dozen other customers coming and going, some picking up orders, some dining in and I never witnessed one smile from the staff during the order process or delivering food to the tables. The restaurant is super cute inside and out (even the napkins are cute) but the vibes inside did not match the branding, so much so that it led us to contemplate, maybe all these employees are related and their dog just died? Maybe they all got into a big fight right before they opened for the day? Maybe they are all being held hostage? Should we alert the authorities? None of them looked like they wanted to be be there. It definitely brought down the vibes. I would recommend this café to someone who had dietary restrictions and is willing to pay the premium prices, but certainly wouldn’t recommend based on the service. Hopefully it was just an off day.

Today was my second visit to Plant. After my first visit several months ago, it was decided that it’s a must-have whenever my wife and I are in the area.
While the draw for me, as someone with both celiac and alpha- gal syndrome, is the very rare opportunity to just order whatever sounds good from the menu without having a panic attack like I would do in any conventional restaurant, I can honestly say that I would eat here any time I’m given the chance even if my medical issues didn’t force me to. It’s that good.
The food is fantastic! I consider myself to be a pretty good cook and I can’t even begin to touch what they do. It’s creative and beyond tasty. It’s completely unlike anything that conventional restaurants are serving in a very good way.
The staff has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable on both visits and the food comes quickly.
While the price of some menu items may seem high at first glance, as someone who regularly purchases gluten free and vegan type foods, I can assure you that their prices are extremely competitive when you factor in the cost of safe ingredients!
My only area of contention would be that there’s not a similar location closer to my home.

Really cute plant based & gluten free friendly place at Plant. I enjoyed their plant arrangements throughout the space and the earthy tones. Here they serve smoothies, bowls, salads, brunch items, plus sweet treats and take away items. Lots of fresh & raw ingredients to choose from. You can also get teas or coffees here plus some alcoholic or mocktail bevs. It’s a one stop shop really.

I got their blueberry muffin which was so fresh and moist. Also highly recommend the Brunch Sampler which includes a quinoa chorizo taco, banana pancake, & their infamous breakfast hash with a special sauce. Everything was so good

This place took forever to make 2 smoothies. We waited almost half an hour, maybe more. Do not come here if you are in a rush and thought to get a quick smoothie! They are also pre-made & expensive. Update-Got smoothies. Not full in the cup, small, and LUKEWARM. yall do not come here

This place gets two stars -instead of one- because the food truly is phenomenal; however, it is incredibly overpriced and most of the time the staff is rude. I thought maybe it was just me, but after reading many other reviews that specifically call out the attitude of the older gentleman, I thought it was time to share my own experience. I’ve also felt judged going in here, which is not something I’ve experienced anywhere else since moving to OKC. I found myself trying to be overly friendly and polite to try and mitigate the uncomfortable atmosphere, which only made me mad at myself later honestly. I’m a 40yo woman… I shouldn’t have to act like this to try and accomodate crappy attitudes. I’m not a Karen. I don’t think I’ve ever “asked to speak to the manager”. I love making others’ smile, and will go out of my way to help a stranger.

Back to the food: it really is delicious, but the portions are ridiculously small. I don’t mind paying $12-14 for a meal, but I would need to eat 2-3 servings to actually fill up (and, I’m a tiny human). For the size, they shouldn’t be charging more than $6-$7.

It really is unfortunate because it’s terribly hard to find good and healthy vegan food here in OKC, but after multiple uncomfortable (and, overpriced) experiences, it’s just not worth it. I’ll go elsewhere or make food at home myself.

I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I love this restaurant! I have all the allergies, and I can eat anything on their menu. The cacao mint chocolate drink is a drink I dream about. Also their fall menu item of Maple Djion Kale salad is the stuff of legends. The complexity of the salad and the freshness is amazing. Love all the plants and the staff is always so understanding and helpful when talking through the ingredients. Atmosphere is so inviting with all the plants and airy feel. I also try to post the menu in a clear picture, not blurry. Have had no issues with my allergies here, a favorite!

The cleanest and tastiest vegan food! We enjoyed so much everything from here! First of all the concept of cooking anti-inflammatory vegan dishes is so needed and so much direction to go wjen you need to heal yourself, function well and feel best! We has the breakfast burrito, sweet potato hash, slice of gluten-free bread, avocado pudding, naked summer salad and golden milk smoothie bowl. Everything so yummy. Even for non vegan people. Very nice interior and helpful man by the cash desk. The girls are a bit slower, maybe because they are learning. Thank you and keep it going so great as you do!

Why are there only 5 stars? Plant deserves 13 stars on a 5 star scale. My boyfriend and I were exploring the city, and went on a walk to eat at Kitchen 324. We saw a plant shop on the way, and decided to pop in. What we didn’t realize was Plant isn’t a plant shop at all. It’s the Disney World of food for people who eat clean. Free of dairy, gluten, soy, and more, their food menu was packed with gut-healthy, immunity-boosting, heart-warming food options. As someone who can hardly find any food to eat in most places due to dietary restrictions, I literally almost cried by how loved I felt in that place. Usually I’m lucky if I have 2 entrees to choose from in an average food establishment. Here, I could have literally every single thing on the menu safely. Their smoothies were incredible and packed with expensive and good quality ingredients I trusted. Their food options were beautiful and tasty and nutritious. If you love food, then you know that good ingredients are worth the price you pay. I would have paid double or triple without a second thought for the food I ate that day. I had the avocado toast (which was brilliantly coupled with radishes and paprika), the bagel with pumpkin cream cheese (you read that right, DAIRY FREE cashew cream cheese that was lighter than air), a chocolate banana smoothie, and a southwest salad. I haven’t been able to eat a bagel and cream cheese in over a year since my dietary issues started. I felt amazing after eating and didn’t get sick at all.

I was so in love with the place we just sat for a while and took it all in. As weird as it sounds, that was the most positive and emotional eating experience I have ever had. I have never felt so loved by the mission of a restaurant, as I was the day I ate here. I bought a shirt on my way out because how could I not? Even their merch was aesthetic and beautiful.

We came back the next day and got more smoothies. If I didn’t live 12 hours away, I’d live here, work here, eat here everyday. Literally the most memorable part of my trip to Oklahoma!!
