This stop happened almost by accident. I was in the area and the place caught my eye. As someone who enjoys history, it was pretty neat to learn that the building was once a hotel and bar back in the 1800s.
Circling back to the food, the pizza was outstanding. I’m a big fan of vegetarian pizza, and this was honestly the best I’ve ever had. It was so good I was still thinking about it later that night in bed. The prices were very fair, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Me and my boyfriend went together because he’s not from Ohio. I got the mushroom burger and he got the B.E.L.T burger and a basket of fries and cheese stix. The waitress was amazing and the food was as well. I grew up with Planks and have always loved the good and the building itself.

I had an amazing experience at Plank’s on Broadway. The food was outstanding and full of flavor, and everything tasted super fresh. The portions were generous, and you could tell the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the whole place just had that classic, comfortable vibe that makes you want to stay longer.
The service was great too. Friendly, quick, and really attentive without being over the top. For the quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices felt completely worth it. Plank’s on Broadway definitely earned a full five stars from me, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in the area.

We had a great experience here. We were seated immediately, arrived around 2pm on a Saturday. Our server was quick, efficient, and very nice. The food was reasonably priced with big portions! The wings were not skimpy but could have had some more sauce. Plenty of outdoor seating out front. Bathrooms were tricky to find, men’s and women’s are not near each other, and were not in the best shape. The area is close to many shops and other places to grab a coffee, ice cream, and much more! Walkable with plenty of free parking nearby. There is a projector playing sports, along with other TVs spread around the restaurant. You can ask to change the channel if needed, but I think they usually keep it on the most popular games.

I loved it here! Rich in history, this place offers fabulous foods at fair prices. Great value. We had salads and the Southwest Pizza. So yummy! We also had a Blue Burger. It was a hit. They have a nice outside space as well as a dining room and great bar area. Don’t be in a hurry. It’s part of the experience.

This Planks location is normally a 5 star for me, until tonight. I went in and inquired about a promotion I had through T-mobile and was informed by the owner that he has never heard of it. He then proceeded to tell me it was half price pizza night and asked “what do you want it for free?” We often spend more than the $20 promotion when we go in. We eat there often, in fact we were there last Saturday the 27th. Not anymore. Thank you Billy Planks for the rudeness.

You never know which crust you will get at planks. Sometimes it is thin sometimes a little thicker. Tonight’s was more airy and crispy bottom. Always delicious!
Great steak at Planks. Who would have thought that Planks would be the place for a great steak? I felt like having a steak so, I gave it a try and was very pleasantly surprised! It was as good as any Sirlion I’ve had anywhere!

We went in on 11/1. Was having a good time. It was 10:00pm on a Saturday. There were still people in there and our table of 4. Still buying at the bar and the bartender on shift literally shut tv and music off. Turned lights off on us and the other patrons and pretty much told us to leave. As a bar manager myself that is not good for business. She also told other people who came in at 9 they were closed. That was a party of 6. She was very rude. We had literally just gotten drinks again and she turned the lights off. No last call. Nothing. I won’t be back.

We stopped in on a busy Friday night so we knew it would be a bit of a wait. We were seated after about 10 minutes of waiting. It took all of that time to also be acknowledged. No blame on the staff though, it was busy and our interpretation was they were short-staffed. The waitress we had was very pleasant and attentive. I had the Greek Salad, Cajun Salmon with a side of cottage cheese and baked potato. My salmon was just s bit overdone…but flavoring was VERY good! My girlfriend had an Italian salad and a very good looking pizza! Will we return? 100%!
