We brought a baby in, which was probably a silly decision on our part. We changed our mind and got takeaway and they were very accommodating.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Wellington. I’ve had lunch here weekly and tasted about half of the curries on the menu, which were all delicious and kept me coming back. My number 1 pick was the Shabnam Curry. Very friendly staff, small and cosy atmosphere and fair prices. Moving back to Europe after living in Welly for a year and Planet Spice is one of the things about Newtown that I will miss the most! Thanks for all the delicious meals!

Honestly my whanau have had amazing meals over the years but the last 2 uber eats we had have been not so good.raita was water which we poured down the sink curry meals were watery and not a thick sauce that planet spice were so amazing at. Even the roti has bn burnt. So sad. Sorry guys but do you have a new chef. Sorry no pics threw away. Never have I ever added to surveys etc but just wasted our only treat eat.

Absolutely beautiful food! Awesome staff. My friend and I were well looked after all night. Very chill atmosphere, lighting, music, people and general vibe was great.
My ex-vegan side was very happy when the waiter came out and double checked our allergies as my friend and I had unknowingly ordered two dairy-free dishes (neither of us had mentioned allergies) – very mindful and caring.
The only downside is there aren’t enough seats/tables considering how popular it gets – so gotta get in quick, don’t miss out!

Ordered lamb korma. The taste is okay, not the best compared to other indian places that do the flavour better. The sauce haas no buttery taste whatsoever and just tastes like a glorified tomato sauce. There is no nutty undertones either. Can hardly call is lamb korma? Pasta sauce is the best way to describe the taste. Pasta sauce and lamb. It was not the best… but it was okay. Rice was good. Food arrived hot. Containers were in good condition and food was not spilled. Overall a 2/5 because the flavor was really lacking.

Attentive and lovely service. Great food we enjoyed our dinner, the naans were light and flakey and you didn’t feel tired after the meal like most places that put heaps of grease in. Thank you will be back next time we are in new zealand.

This is unfortunate but after several years of eating at the restaurant and having takeaways we have had an unfortunate experience. The rice was not hot the onion bhaji was not fully cooked and had no sauce. The main which was a chicken meal which we have had before.was not to the usual standard. The nan bread was also undercooked Over all very disappointing
